People say I look weird without my glasses. I think I look hideous with them on.
But, to get back on topic, I like Mary better with her glasses. She does look cute without them, but the glasses make her look like her.

In FOMT, the subject isn't pushed, but like someone said, she mentions in HM64 that she's nearsighted.

True years ago my mother told me she was near-sighted in one eye, and far-sighted in the other. But then she got near-sighted in both.
