Another sad Canada Day for me, as I spent it in Boston (not by choice). It was sad to see that 90% of Americans I encountered had no idea that today was our "Independence Day" when we know all about American holidays and such.
Oh well. Yay Canada. >_>

Red and white, don't you mean? Well the Canadian flags that I have seen flying, have been orange stripes with an orange maple leaf, as well as the white stripe. So either the flag has been in the sunshine too long and the red has been 'washed out', or the company that made the flag used orange instead of red.

It's washed out. The Canadian flag has two red rectangles on each side of the flag with a red maple leaf in the middle:

The two stripes on the side represent the two oceans that Canada is in between, or something like that. Just... notes off the top of my head. >_>;;
