aww, c'mon guys...I really wanted this thread to be full of cool stuff! Not about how you learned that cartoon guys aren't real or how well you know a bookstore. This is turning out to be a repeat of the last thread ._.

So...I watched lots of cool shows on the National Geographic Channel and learned all sorts of cool stuff about dogs, pigs, elephants and dolphins. A sample of what I learned:
piglets that are weaned too young suffer from stress disorders and are more likely to panic and having trouble remembering things that piglets that are weaned at the proper time don't have

Today I learned that there actually HAVE been reported cases of Psychokinesis and that the ability can be developed.

I also have found that studies show (well, the few that there have been) that this ability is not only controlled by the mere thought of "mind over matter", but for it to REALLY work one must have his mentality deeply engraved in his or her subconcious. =/
In fact, most of the lesser famous reports of Psychokinesis were performed during hypnosis. I'm guessing (sorry, haven't done that much research on hypnosis quite yet) that what hypnosis really is is the foreign control of the subconcious, which would make further study of this entirely possible to those with the natural ability of psychokinesis! =D


I dunno... I thought it was a cool little find in the field of para-science since I've always dreamed of being psychic or something like that. x]
