Ah meh, the HG is in fact just a something for experienced players. The main reason she leaves is because of that... The player will have more trouble and have to do more difficult things to raise the child w/o the HG. In fact, if you want the game to convert into HARD, hey, go on, but think about it first. HG is only for VERY EXPERIENCED players, and if you think you can train/practice a bit more, don't lose time and do it. As a minimun requirement, I would state this:
- Have 30,000+ G. AT LEAST! - Already had an experience of merriage. - Have a good relation with Harris. Because yes.
Heck, what I mean is taht you need maaaany money and muuuch more practice than you think before marrying her. Anyway, good luck..!
Note: I have to stop posting this LONG posts, damn

Why would you need to be friends with Harris?

The reason is CLEARLY THERE!
Because yes! And because when you tell him his nose is extremely big and ask how he can see the floor below him... He won't get SO MAD and kill you. He will just tell you: "Hmph, and I thought you were quite a respectful citizen *walks away*" which isn't very bad at all =P

Since when do you tell Harris that his nose is big? There is no event like that in FOMT.

No. They marry in the 4th year and only if you see all of the rival heart events.

Then can marry later, after year 4. In the game where I married Ann, the Doctor and Elli didn't get married until year 7.
