I can almost assure a new FF7 game for you all!
I saw a whole bunch of FF7 characters fighting Ultima Weapon and the graphics were all brand new and stuff.
Now it wasn't exactly a traier or a preview it was just like a cutscene with no meaning.

Although that was awesome, they said that was intended only as a technical demonstration. A new FFVII would be awesome though! ;D

You are either thinking of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, which is actually a CGI movie that is FFVII's sequel and takes place two years after ol' Sephy was defeated.
You could also be thinking of Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus, which is a game in which Vincent is your main character and it takes place one year after Seph was defeated and its sorta like Devil May Cry I think...
OR you could be talking Crise Core - FFVII (working Title), but nothing much known about that (I think) and its for PSP.
