I don't like Harvest Moon (I joined this forum cuz I like the stuff that doesn't have to do with Harvest Moon) so I'll pick Animal Crossing.

Ah! I hate these sorts of decisions! >_<;
It's a really tough call, but I vote for Animal Crossing. It took me 1 month to get tired of each Harvest Moon game. It took 13 months for me to get tired of Animal Crossing. Both I still play occasionally. They're both in the same genre. I guess Animal Crossing also lets you interact with the other human players....somewhat....
Animal Crossing has more stuff to do, more holidays, you play it in realtime, more things to collect, you can change things to your liking....it's just a longer game with more stuff to do. I love both AC and HM, but Animal Crossing wins out in my mind. =)
