Anyone else think that this is a bad move on Nintendo's part? TP is delayed to as far as April 2006, which means TP will have to compete with the next-gen consoles. And now, a surprsing fit from GameFAQs user TSA: This delay of Twilight Princess is almost as bad as pulling The Kid Waker stunt on Zelda fans back in 2001. Leading everyone on like that... I'm not going to get into the # of ways TP and Nintendo are royally screwed by this move in both the business sense and fan sense...I'd be banned for what I'd say because I do not know how many expletives I couldn't fit onto this window... But the fact is waiting 7-8 months for this game now is unacceptable. A few months I could see. But this is an EPIC delay...like something that would happen if the source code was stolen or something went wrong. Even OoT never had a SINGLE delay this big (though they all added up to being years). Listen - Fans want Twilight Princess now. Make it bigger than The Wind Waker, which it obviously is, wrap it up and save everything else for a killer Zelda Revolution title. Delaying this game till next year...okay, to my point. GIVE US THE TWILIGHT PRINCESS DEMO FOR FREE - NOW. Seriously, I am going on record now - when TP comes to my town for this upcoming Fusion Tour, I am stealing a copy if TP demo is not made public for sale or distribution. It is the LEAST Nintendo could do. Here are some other things you could throw in: 1) Release all the BS-Zelda games so EVERYONE can play them, including Navi Trackers in English. 2) Give us the timeline. 3) Release a compiliation set of every song from every Zelda game fully orchestrated Oh, I fully expect Voice Acting in TP now...no reason for it not to have it... And if TP isn't god's greatest gift to humanity...oh man...fear the wrath... The Evil Jar hath been unleashed...ph34r the wrath of GANNON-BANNED.

Its a shame its been held up, but I think in the long run it will be worth it. I waited a lot longer to get my hands on MFoMT after all.

True, but Zelda has a much larger fan-base than HM. Also, this would screw Nintendo financally.
Also, TP is "graphics whore Zelda", making an even larger base waiting for the game.

i have to agree with butters. though the wait for TP may be long, it can't even compare to the wait for the for girls versions; i heard about those more than a year ago.
and why would it screw up nintendo financally? do you think people would hold a grudge and stop buying their games and stuff?
there are still plenty of good video games out there to keep you occupied.
but then, i'm not really a zelda fan, so maybe it's just me.

Because 2006 is the year of the next generation consoles.

Ouch! I'm sorry to hear about the delay. =/ Yeah, I know I'll definitely wait for TP. It is a shame they couldn't fit it into 2005 and competing with the next-gen graphics-whore games won't make it look quite as....special. I don't think this is good for Nintendo. I don't believe Nintendo would push it back without reason though. I'm sure this game will be worth the wait. Until the game comes out, I'll just have to enjoy some other games.

That's a good thought, and has already been disscussed, but you're forgetting something: The Revoultion is backwards compatible with GCN games, so unless they either make it a launch title or add Revolution-only features to the game, it's not really worth it.

That's the only reason I can think of to delay it so IU think that's what they're doing.

Ha! The girls version was NOTHING compared to the wait we're having for FFVII:AC, I mean its been delayed for over 3 years!!! Probably more! It better come out this year or SE will have alot of hell to bpay. >_>

are you sure they delayed it?
because delaying is when they announce the date when it's coming out, and it keeps getting pushed back. but it's not delaying if they announced that the game is coming to the US, but have not set a release date.
