So, I found a copy of KH2 at Gamestop, so I bought it, but I'm a little lost. So, I'm playing Chain of Memories too. It's more fun than I remembered.

Chains of Memories is one of those games you need to play through at least once to understand it. The card system can be kind of fun, but what I enjoy is the characters development they put into the Orginization members...Which in my honest opinion, they hardly did for the other half in Kingdom Hearts II.
Anyways, if you are lost for Kingdom Hearts II, as me. I know everything.
This series is sort of my obessision for the last year.

To me it seemed as though they assumed everyone played Chain of Memeories, then let up on adding too much development for the Organisation members in KH2. Though they seem to be giving some more insight in 358/2 Days. Which i still have to beat.

Unless you are a harpy of a fanatic fangirl who can't take a female in a game because she just happens to be connected to actual males... *grumbles grumbles rages rages*

So, I found the first game at Gamestop, so I'm gonna play that again (and beat it this time) before playing KH2 again.

While I liked Ven (he was pretty cute and really quite a sweetie), I appeal to Roxas more. What you call angst I call reservation, sarcastic and sardonic personality with explosive bouts of anger. And while in Days he is more innocent then implied in Kingdom Hearts II, he's not too different. And unlike all the other (Sora, Ven, Xion), Roxas never did anything for the greater good of things. Oh sure, he was dedicated to his friends, but his goals were his own. I never considered him a good guy, but a true neutral. With Ven, I did see some heavy parallels between him and Xion, with the same innocent qualities mixed with melancholy at times. I always tried to figure out where she got her sadness from or her acceptance of her fate. Certainly not Sora or being a memory of Kairi. I loved how it all kind of ties toghether.
