(Alright.. yes.. I am the author, no.. I do not own Harvest moon etc, etc... I'm just completely obsessed over the game. Heh. Anyways, This story is just random... basically all the characters from Magical Melody are in it, plus some other characters from the other HM games, but I'll leave you to find out which game they're from and such.. anyways... here's chapter 1. I hope you enjoy it.. and if your wondering... NO I do not correct my spelling.. deal with it.. -.- its what I have to deal with every day so you can deal with my horrible spelling for a short-ish fic.. OH! and if your wondering who Kailey and Jessica are... I'm Kailey, my best friend is Jessica, we put ourselves in the game acting out as 2 separate main characters... and I'm going to have to rate this Teen Just because of the language..) And now starts the randomness...

Chapter ( 1 ).


Kailey: Slowly exited out of her Beach home, long brown hair skimming past her elbows as she shifted, dark orbs watching her surroundings. A small green bag hung over her shoulders as she skipped happily about her small land only to have her germansheapard puppy follow her about barking playfully. "Down Tick!" She giggled as she leaned forewords petting her dog. She smiled only to pause once hearing someone or something call out her name. Blinking she looked over her shoulder and arched a brow only to smile and give a slight wave to her best friend.

Jessica: Waved back to her friend as she cried out "Kailey-Chan!" and quickly rushed over. Jessica had shoulder-length black hair and light brown orbs watched the other girl with a happy smile. "I can't wait until the fireworks festival tonight!" She squealed dancing in one place her hair bouncing about behind her as it would be curled at the tips slightly. She paused tilting her head to the side watching her friend curiously. "Did you ask a boy yet?" She questioned her black shoes pressed against the sandy earth.

Kailey: Smiled only for it to fade as she watched her friend and slowly shook her head. "No... not yet.." She sighed only to have her dog bark up wards twords the two girls. "What about you...? hey, didn't you ask Blue yesterday...? what did he say?" She smiled slightly as she swayed slightly in place. Now her thoughts turned to the fact she might be date-less upon one of the best festivals of summer. She shifted, her pink shoes digging into the sand some boredly, as she waited for her friends story. Hopefully Jessica was luckier then her.

Jessica: Frowned and shook her head. "He said no....." She wanted to cry, she had really liked Blue.. but... obviously his affection for her was different. She watched her friend with a smirk before adding. "But Kurt asked me out right after..." She grinned nodding before patting her best friend on the head. "Don't worry.. I'm sure you have enough hearts with a boy..." Quickly without Kailey being able to say or do anything Jessica took her diary reading through it only to gasp dropping the diary to the ground. "Ack!" She winced orbs widened as she stared blankly at her friend. "You don't have any heart rates with anyone?!" She exclaimed only to sigh shriveling up some. "Its the middle of summer... what have you been doing?!" She asked curious about her friends actions silently wondering why Kailey hadn't put much of any effort into finding a guy.

Kailey: Would sigh picking up her diary quickly once it was drooped with a short "Hey!". She placed her diary away blushing slightly looking away from her friend with slight embarrassment. "Ah... working on my farm....?" She winced only to glance around the slightly bare land with a sigh. A tear drop emitted from the clouds dropping over Kailey's head. "Alright fine! I've been skipping days sleeping alright?" She winced with a slight whine only to lower her head watching her friends expression still.

Jessica: Sighed rolling her eyes. "Kailey!" She shook her head with a slight laugh of stupidity from her friend. "Come on... lets go and talk to some of the towns folk... that way you can at least be known before you die..." Sarcasm remained in her voice as she slowly started to walk up wards off the shore waiting for her friend behind the fence connecting to Kailey's house.

Kailey: Sighed nodding still embarrassed but laughing at the same time only to follow her friend twords the town before patting her dog on the head mumbling a "Stay" under her breath.

~Once in Town~

Jessica: Stoped and glanced around the slightly bare town square. "Ah.. its still early..." She sighed shifting to a bench that lingered next to the flower shop only to wait for the time to pass some so that at least some stores became open.

Kailey: Sighs following her friend nodding, her head still had been lowered as she wandered off twords the middle of town square while Jessica sat down. Wandering twords a small fountain placed within the middle with a stone statue of the harvest goddess she sat next to it with another sigh. "I can't gain anyone's heart within a day..." She frowned placing her chin within the palm of her hand only to glance up once. Her deep brown orbs watched a male's figure move about town square like he was lost. An explanation mark ( ! ) appeared over Kailey's head as she pushed herself off the fountain's edge walking over to the male being with her head tilted curiously to the side. She let a small "Hello" Escape her lips as she watched the dark haired man slowly turn around.

Dan: Slowly turned around after hearing a faint 'Hello' from behind him only to blink his blueish purple eyes. "Uhh... hi..." He offered a slightly embarrassed smile waiting for the girl to at least say something. He was dressed rather oddly... then again, so was everyone else in this town. His red bandanna remained upon his forehead while his black hair skimmed against his darkly tanned complexion.

Kailey: became speechless as she stared at the male in front of her as she slowly dismissed her thoughts shaking her head gently. "Umm.. Can I help you.... with... with anything..?" She stuttered a faint blush highlighted her cheeks as she watched the male.'Oh my Goddess.. his eyes are so beautiful...' She thought only to gaze at him waiting some type of answer. Her brown hair skimmed against the middle of her back as she continued to watch this being, still curious.

Dan: Arched a brow nodding slowly twords this strange girls actions as well as her phrase. "Actually.. maybe you can.." He had been watching the girls dazed expression as a slight smirk crossed his lips. "I work at the vineyard behind the bar at this town.. are you by any chance new?" He winked only to pull the girl tightly into an embrace unless pushed away. "I'm sure your a far away princess that washed up upon shore.. now your living in a shack all by yourself.. how dreadful!" He spoke in a dramatic deep tone his glance slightly up wards twords the sky.

Kailey: Slowly backed away only to be captured by this mans arms. Slightly struggling she shook her head. "Uh no! I moved here.. I do live on the beach.. in a shack... I mean house!" She winced still tight within the others arms only to sigh once. 'Sheesh... he may be hot.. but he's probably mentally challenged.. ' She closed her eyes frowning twords her thoughts. "I'm Kailey.. nnn..." She paused being squeezed now as she tried to escape his grasp still.

Dan: Stared down at the girl after coming out of what ever trance he had been in. "Oh.. I'm Dan..." He released the girl only to have one arm slink around her neck now. "So my little princess... Care to show me where your castle may be located so that I may be able to drop off a letter sometime soon...?" He smirked only to cup the girls chin within his palm starring at her with a devious look.

~Meanwhile...~

Jessica: would tap her foot against the brick and stone tiled ground as she continued to sit upon the bench within the towns square, arms crossed. She cursed slightly rolling back her head to stare up wards twords the sky. "Kailey where are you...?" She mumbled to herself only to shriek loudly as a pair of eyes and a head dipped over her own. Standing up quickly with a slightly unbalanced stagger she stared back to the being whom had scared her for the short moment only to get rather mad. "Kurt!" She scorned glaring at him slightly an anger sign drooped beside her head.

Kurt: Sneered only to chuckle slightly as he waved twords Jessica. "Good morning to you too!" He smiled only to watch the girl in front of him. "Didn't mean to scare you Jess..." He re-approached the girl watching her with a slight smirk. His dark brown hair pulled into its own unique style as he slowly shook his head before crossing his arms over his chest. "So what are you doing here this early in the morning..?" He questioned knowing that Jessica was usually a late sleeper.

Jessica: Stoped and stared at Kurt now sighing lightly. "Morning... and I decided to get up early to get a better start on the day.. okay?" She was rather annoyed now though still embarrassed that she had screamed like that. She watched Kurt with her light brown hues only to smile faintly. "And what about you? Shouldn't you be working...?" She asked allowing her hands to remain at her sides.

Kurt: Blinked and slowly shook his head. "No... its a holiday remember? None of the shops are open either.. thats why I was asking.." He paused with a confused look a tear drop emitting from the clouds droping over his head as he watched his date for the day slowly become aggravated. He shook his head with a tight smirk his mind trailing back to the night before when he had asked Jessica out, which only got his brother Joe mad. He chucked at the thought.

Jessica:'s eyes slowly narrowed as fire seemed to appear within her orbs. "What...?" She slowly lowered her head letting an insane laugh to cascade over her form. "You mean I waited out here all this time... for nothing?!" She exclaimed only to scream the last part of her phrase making Kurt back away slowly as if embarrassed to be around her right now. She shook her head with anger only to offer a fake smile. "Excuse me..." She walked past Kurt only to head twords the forest with clouds popping up around her... dark clouds..

Kurt: O.O;;

Chapter ( 2 ).


Jessica: Closed her eyes shaking her head while walking through the trees and plant life that lingered throughout the forest. Frowning twords her thoughts she sighed relaxing a bit. She passed the carpenter-brothers house (Kurt's and Joe's) as she frowned slowly only to come twords another male being. Watching him she noticed it was Kurt's brother Joe. She smiled and wandered over to him. "Hey Joe!" She offered a slight smile, maybe Joe could cheer her up for a bit?..

Joe: Pulled a glance over to Jessica with a faint smile after reeling in his fishing rod with nothing on the other end. "Oh.. hey Jess!" He smiled slightly again facing her after placing his rod back into his bag. He tilted his head to the side still watching her curiously. "Is there something I can help you with?" He asked, even though there was no work on the holidays he was always ready to help anyone in need.

Jessica: Sighed and sat down next to the lakes edge staring out at the deep blue water before cascading a glance back over Joe. "Do you... do you like me...?" She asked, though she knew very well the answer. She just wanted to hear it from him.. and if it was true.. then she wanted to end things here before things started to get a little too carried away.

Joe: Blinked twords her question only to sigh placing his hands in his pockets before looking out wards twords the ocean with his own ocean like orbs. "Well... actually... I did... before.. " He frowned closing his eyes shaking his head. "Kurt asked you..." He turned to smile down twords Jessica only to shift. "And if thats what you choose... then..." He didn't bother to finish his sentence, he only waited to hear what Jessica had to say.

Jessica: Sighed nodding slowly as she picked herself up from off the ground. "Well... yes.. Kurt is who I choose... " Her soft tone trailed off as she looked over her shoulder to see Kurt slowly walking down the forest pathway a little ways away. She smiled and picked herself up from off of the ground looking back to Joe wincing slightly.

Joe: frowned slowly pulling a dish from out of his bag. "Here... you can have your burnt fish back that you gave me..." He handed it to her before walking off twords the towns square with a rather annoyed look.

Jessica:'s mouth dropped open as she stared at the burnt fish after taking it back as Joe walked off. "Fine!" She called out to him before turning back twords the lake. "Here you go little fishie! be free!" She sent the plate to go flying into the lake only to have the plate sink to the bottom and the dead burnt fish float at the top as Jessica frowned crouching down next to the waters edge sighing sadly.

Dead/Burnt Fish: X____X *plupb...*

Kurt: Walked up to Jessica only to tilt his head to the side curiously. "What did He want...?" He asked only to pull his arms around Jessica holding her close as he knelt down behind her only to laugh slightly twords the fish.

Jessica: Sighs lightly only to lean back in Kurt's arms turning her head slightly to look up at him. "Nothing..." She sighed only to feel some sort of comfort from Kurt only to stop thinking quickly. "Oh sh*t... I just ditched off Kailey..." She sighed lowering her head a tear drop cascading over her as she frowned.

~Back in Town Square..~

Kailey: Blinked looking back at Dan with a confused expression. "I.. uh... sure..." She winced slightly only to pull free of Dan with a slight spin as she began walking back twords her shack of a house upon the beach only to have Dan follow...

~Back at Temple-Farm~

Dan: Watched Kailey walking closely behind her as they now came to the beach. "Mm.. nice place.." He smiled only to look back over the girl with his deep orbs. He watched the waves wash over the white sand gently only to pause looking down after hearing a loud 'bark' coming from below. Slowly Dan watched a small dog approach him. "Awe.. how cute!" he said bending down to pet the dog..

Dog (Tick) : Growls up at Dan and jumps up biting his hand before getting petted only to lunge at Dan growling and snarling.

Kailey: Blinked turning quickly watching her dog just attack Dan. "Hey!" She called only to pull the growling and now wiggling dog off of Dan sighing holding the dog now within her arms. "Its okay Tick... he's a friend..."

Dan:'s orbs widened as he was attacked only to scream in a manly tone scrambling against the sand only to have the dog bite his hand leaving teeth marks within his flesh, bright blood dripping from his tanned skin now as he sighed leaning back as the dog was pulled off him. "What the hell?! That dog better have its rabies shot!" He picked himself up off the sandy beach only to sigh wiping the small beads of sand off his clothing before looking back up to Kailey not all too impressed at the moment.

Kailey: Sighed wincing slightly as she continued to hold her dog within her arms. "I'm so sorry Dan... she must have been just protecting me... I'm sure she didn't mean to!" She sighed walking into the house leaving Dan outside for a moment before returning with a bandage leaving the dog inside just in case within the process. Slowly Kailey approached Dan holding out the bandage slightly with extended arms. "Here.. I'll tend to your wounds..." She offered a slight smile only for it to fade.

Dan: Nodded slowly as he held out his bloody hand twords Kailey only to have it tended to. "I guess its alright... hopefully next time I'm here something like that wont happen..." He smiled slightly only to watch Kailey as she would have wrapped his hand up with a thick tendance bandage. Once through he smiled nodding in thanks. "So... this is your place huh? Kind of bare..." He continued his red bandanna's ends blowing back as his shoulder-length black hair had.

Kailey: Blushed once finished nodding. "Well.. I'm working on it..." She hesitated only slightly smiling up at him. "I hope to beat that no good Jamie some day... he can taste my sand filled shoes..." She didn't like the fact that Jamie was so bitter to her before, so she didn't pay any given attention twords him. She sighed lightly only to watch Dan her blush continued to linger across her cheeks. "So um... what are you doing for the fireworks festival..?" She asked looking up at him arching a brow.

Dan: Pauses only to look down at Kailey with a smirk across his dark tanned complexion. "Well.. I was going to ask you.. but now I'm not so sure..." He looked down to his bandaged hand only to grin back at Kailey nodding his head before approaching her his head tilted to the side as his purplish blue eyes watched her own deep debths. "Well Kailey... will you watch the fireworks with me?" He questioned raising an eyebrow continuing to watch her.

Kailey: Stared at Dan with a slight smile. She quickly turned her glance away pulling out her diary skimming through it quickly hesitating slightly. ' He couldn't possibly have more then a Grey heart...? could he..? ' she thought silently only to have the book knocked out of her hands.

Dan: Smirked placing his own hands within Kailey's as he replaced the book. "You don't need to look through that.. I already like you.." He smiled down at her, his own faint blush lingered across his face as he tilted his head to the side, the soft breeze of the ocean blowing passed them.

Kailey: Blushed heavily staring up at Dan only to nod happily with a soft smile. "Really?! Thank you, Dan!!" She cheered only to latch herself onto Dan tightly in a gentle yet kindered hug.

Chapter ( 3 ).


~Later that evening...~

Jessica: Yawned as she shifted her feet out in front of her as she sat next to the lake's edge, one hand captured between Kurt's while the other lay at her side pressed against the grassy earth. She smiled over to him before glancing out back twords the lake. "Its taking a long time for the fireworks to start..." She sighed slightly bored as she shifted to lean her head against Kurt's shoulder.

Kurt: Nodded and thought silently to himself, his digits squeezed Jessica's had gently. "Yeah... I wonder who's on the fireworks committee this time?" He questioned out loud tilting his head to press his cheek against the top of Jessica's head. He sighed contently yet sort of impatiently waiting for the fireworks to start.

~Meanwhile...~

Gina: Would be pulling and tugging on a large red rocket that held at least 10 separate fireworks within it. Gina had been on the fireworks committee this year with Nina was paying off.. a little maybe. She sighed grunting as she pulled the fireworks rocket over its sheath of wire to get it ready for launch. She panted softly looking over to Nina pushing her glasses further up upon the bridge of her nose. "Nina... where's your rocket?" She asked tilting her head to the side her long blue braids falling over her shoulders in the process.

Nina: Glanced up to Gina after striking the petals off of one of the flowers she held within her hand. "Oh uh... I left it back at the beach.. I thought we were setting them off there?" She gave a puzzled look as a tear drop slowly sleeked its way down over Gina's head.

Gina: Stopped and stared at Nina with a sigh shaking her head before starting the first launch of the fire works. "Come on, we better hurry to the beach to light the other one.." She hurried off twords the beach, Nina following after her.

~At the beach~

Dan: Sighs pulling Kailey between his legs as they sat on a small hill going down wards twords the shore of the beach. His arms pulled over her shoulders as he rested his chin against her shoulder sighing softly. Before glancing to Kailey as long stream of light shot through the sky as it cascaded up wards only to fall back with a big explosion that descended through the dark star-lit sky. He then glanced over hearing some laughing not too far off down the beach.

Kailey: Smiles softly relaxing in Dan's arms only to turn her head to the side also taking note of the laughing down the beach a little ways from her shack of a house. "What was that...?" She whispered as faint crackling noises now echoed across the sky from the different colored and shaped fireworks. She pulled herself to a standing state waiting for Dan so they could investigate.

Dan: Blinked watching Kailey only to pick himself off of the white sanded beach taking Kailey by the hand and leading her twords the noise of now ruffling movements. Deep crystal blueish purple orbs watched as a stocky figure and a tiny figure shuffled through the sand with a large object in front of them, suddenly a spark would start looking like some type of flame. "Oh.. sh*t..."

Bob: Chuckled once not taking note of the couple standing by them as he and Tim (his little brother I'm guessing) Set off the other rocket that they had found off the side of the beach. Looking back as he heard another voice mumble while another one called off in the distance.

Gina: "Nooo!" She screamed only to run across the beach over by the others as both herself, Bob and Timothy threw themselves against the rocket only to have it go screaming across the air and seemingly to crash into the sky with loud sparkling fireworks. Gina lay burnt faced down in the sand sprawled out all dizzy like. ( @___@ )

Tim: Goes flying back wards from the impact and lands in the middle of the ocean. ( X__ X )

Bob: Goes flying back the other way almost crashing into Kailey's house as he now lay on his rump in the sand with a dizzy look and burnt in several places as well. ( @_______@ )

Nina: Slowly walked over to the now separated group and the huddling couple. "Oopse..." A tear-drop extends from the sky over her face.

Kailey: Huddles with her face buried against Dan's shoulder in a scared manner. "Oh my goddess..." She winced looking now to the others sighing as Dan held her. ( -__- )

Dan: ( O___O ) Sighed and held Kailey slowly shaking his head. "Holy Goddess is right..." Looks up to continue to watch the fireworks crackling in the air. "At least the view is good..."

~Back at the river~

Jessica: "Awesome fireworks this year!" Snuggles into Kurt sighing happily while continuing to watch the fireworks.

Kurt: Simply nods enjoying the scene and Jessica's company.
