oh yeah, its sad when that happens..people are waiting saying "this is the most awesome fanfic ever!" and the next chapter never comes...

Yeah, I happened to be reading a Reeeeally good FanFic, and that is what's happening, so I decided not to do that to other people.  I am always excited to come home and write more!! I might write later! |

Chapter 8-
Claire grinned and took his hand. She had never danced with a guy before, but she trusted Kai to lead her. She followed, gazing at her feet. Kai slipped his hand out of hers, and lifted her chin up.
"I need to see your eyes," Kai explained.
Claire nodded, but fumbled with her feet as she tried to get back into the rythem of the music.

Tomorrow was the fireworks festival. Claire had mixed feelings about it. she wasn't sure if she would be invited by someone, or even go for that matter. She forgot about it, and left to feed the animals, by now, her extention was done, and she had bought a refridgerator and shelves.
*I should give something to Kai,* she thought
*Maybe even Popuri, for a sorry,* hmm...
*Ooo, and I'm sure Mary would like some of those relax tea leaves.*
Soon, Claire had a whole list of people and gifts written in her head, when she finally went inside to collect them.
"Ok, bye Mary," she called as she left the library.
She had one thing left in her pockets, honey. *who's that for?* she wondered.

"Thanks, big sister! This is the bestest present!" May thanked her.
Claire nodded and told her that she had to go. They waved good-bye and she whispered into May's ear, "She IS beautiful."

She rolled out of bed again, hitting her head on the side table.
"Ouch," she mumbled, too tired to scream.

"Hey Chica," she whispered to the pony.
She whinnied and trotted in a circle, the n back to Claire.
"Your a jolly one aren't 'cha?", she said, "I wish I were that happy."

"Mornin' Claire," Grey greeted in the street.
"Hey, Grey," Claire said politely.
*I have nothing wrong with my life, I should be as happy as Chica...*
Claire giggled, "neighed" and "trotted" to Kai's beach lodge.

"Hola Bonita!" Kai said.
"Su loco," Claire returned witha a grin.
"Speakin' spanish are we?" Karen tumbled in. "Ok, hola amigos."
The girls giggled and ordered their snowcones.
Kai sat down next to Claire, and kissed the top of her head.
"Ouch," Claire said.
