Fwee! Here's chapter one and the prologue of my fanfic for you guys!
Prologue- The Letter I didn't mean for this to happen. I knew you loved me, and I loved you, and we did make a promise. But things change, you know? Let me take the time to say I am truly sorry, and I know I've scarred you for life. But I don't want you to mourn over our lost love. Remember what my grandfather used to say? " A love lost is a friendship gained." And I want you to live by that saying. Let your mental wounds heal, and move on. One more thing. I'd like to let you know that I still love you, but as a friend now. Sincerely, Elissia Chapter One Elissia took a triumphant step onto the cool sand under the lumpy gray clouds that loomed above her. The autumn frost was washed away by the tide. No one was there to roll out the welcome wagon except a chubby man, who later introduced himself as the mayor. Elissia seriously doubted this, and after a long discussion, Thomas led Elissia to the farm. Elissia was devastated. "I thought the ad said-" Elissia started, but was interrupted by the mayor's loud laughing. He wiped a tear from his eye. "The ad? You believed that?!?" Thomas could hardly breathe when he said this. Elissia groaned and frowned. "I'm staying." Elissia said, standing her ground. Thomas' laughter immediately stopped. He handed her the key and skittered away. It was Elissia's turn to laugh. There was something vaguely familiar. about this farm. Elissia knelt down to look at a tiny sprout in the soil. Her pale orange hair fell in front of her, lightly brushing the green sprout. She got up and walked toward the tiny farm house. "This is going to need some work.." Elissia said aloud, feeling cramped up inside the house. She pulled out the map she had gotten on the ferry and traced her finger out of her farm and into the forest. The carpenter's house was nearby. Elissia left her luggage by her bed, and dusted off the table and the bed. She'll unpack later. The town was a bit more advanced than she had expected. There were actual electric lamps placed along the roads. Her first stop? The inn, since she had no money to buy chickens or cows. (to be finished later)
