Who thinks that the rivals add a bad touch to the FoMT ? Actually, I think the rivals are a nice touch to the game. In the original HM and in AWL there are no rivals and the other four girls stay single. |

Personally, they only bothered me when they invited me to their wedding, because then I'd lose a day of farming. But, they shouldn't really affect you anyway, seeing as you have four years to get married and that's more than enough time.
