A lot of websites list the name of Ann and Gray's dad as being named Hall. I don't ever recall anyone calling him by his first name. To make things even more confusing, in BTN and FoMT, Ann's dad is named Doug!
So, which is it? Does anyone know for certain?

I just call him Doug for simplicty reasons. HM64 really didn't care much about names.

Same here, I call him Doug, even if a few faqs I've seen says his name is Hall.

Before I played BTN and FoMT, I always thought of him as Mr. Green, cuz he ran the Green Ranch.  |

True, but since I'm playing them backwards ( newer games first then the older ones ) I think of the names of the newer for the older. It's funny to see that some names don't change that much ( Mrs. Mana of HM64 is Manna in FOMT ).

that's true.
it's like the time when the bakery master won the harvest festival. they always called him master or the bakery master, so when they said jeff won, i was, like, "who the heck is jeff?"
but i finally figured it out.

I always called him Doug... And Barley in FoMT is Skinny( it's his name  ) in HM64. |

Yeah. Its like with Gray...Ann always referred to him as her "big brother" but never by name. Then I got a New Year's Card from someone name Gray and I had no idea who that was.  |

same here. i was looking at a nintendo power magazine once, and it had a special on hm64, and told all the bachelors. i didn't know who grey was, but apparently, nintendo knew about not knowing everyone's name, so the said he was ann's brother.
and then, in the file i had at that time, cliff had left so long ago, i didn't even know who they were talking about, even when they said "the guy with the bird".
