Oh yes, how could I forget May. I like the 2nd of the phone calls that Barley has with his daughter Joanna. May is there for that call, and she asks her mother to come back and meet the nice new farmer. Is she trying to get her mother to marry you?

There are two events with Barley, that can happen when you go to the Inn. The fisrt is just with Barley talking to Joanna, asking when she is coming back. The second will only happen after you have seen the first one. This time Barley has May with him, to let her talk to her mother. My feel on the second event is, since May knows that she is too young to marry Jack, she wants her mother to marry Jack so she has some relationship to Jack.
