okay, I'm getting pissed off here, I read the directions in the book on how to link from a Gamecube to your gameboy advance. However it's not working here's what I'm doing:
1. I plug the {cordless} controller into the first control slot and on AWL I'm going to the moutain and talking to the sprites.
2. When the screen on AWL Goes white I take the Game Cube Game boy advance link cable and stick in the 2nd slot of the controller thing.
3. In the gameboy version I turn it on and go to the godess, throwing somthing in the lake to get her attention and then saying "yes I want to link"
4. When she plays a trick on you and asks you "Do you want to stop" I say yes and then it continues.
{Nothing happens. And I know that my link cable isn't faulty because it works w/ all my other games. I know that I have to be doing something wrong. So help me out here peeps.}

Are you going to the valley path in AWL and talking to Nic, Nac and Flak?

okay, yes a message comes up and i follow the directions EVERY SINGLE TIME. so how come it's not working. Could it have something to do w/ my wireless controller? do I need to plug in a controller w/ a wire in it or what?

Maybe... I never had any problems and I used a regular controller.

I guess I should try the regular controller and see if it works better than the wireless.....what do you think Butter? Oh butter, by the way, on the gameboy advance verison of HM I named one of my chickens "Carter" and the other one "Butter," *smiles* I don't know if you'll be mad at me for this one but it was the only name I could come up with on such short notice.
*trying not to laugh*
uh....it was a joke.....I though that these were cute names so I gave it to them. What's the harm in naming your chickens and pokemon things/people you know? I mean it's funny isn't it?

;D I'd like that! Finally, someone names something {even if it's an animal} after me. I don't care if you name your kid "Rini" as long as something's named after me. and thanks butter! Please do so!

Well, it'd be wierd naming a boy Rini... Anyway, my son is named Wally in FoMT and Ralphie in AWL.

Wally? please don't laugh {I bettcha will} but anyway, my kids name is "Lloyd" I thought it was nice and it wasn't common. . . . . .
oh, I pissed my wife off so I have to "win her heart" all over again before she'll talk to me in the evening time..... sheesh. I kept givin' her rocks, sticks and weeds just to see if she would divorce me. {Because it said "If" you stayed marryed for 50 years you would get something} well the key word was "IF" in that sentence......right?

do you really think that you could divorce your wife in the GBA verison? I wanted to know if you truely could. I think even Carter told me that if you piss her off enough that she'll go back to live with her family and you'll have to care for the kid. {damn what a good deal! usually it's the woman that have to care for the kid, now it's the men's turn to know what it's like to be a "Single Parent". . . . . .

I don't know; Maybe the word ''if" means that you'll just get bored of playing before year 50.

hmmmmmmm I never thought of that. I wanted to start a game, make a "girl" fall in love with me, like Ann, Karen or the librarian girl, marry them and then piss them off enough to see what would happen. When I kept giving my wife sticks, rocks and weeds, her heart turned black. I wonder what would have happened if i had continued giving her those things. {right now I've gotten her back up to about a yellow/organge heart} {oh, and my kid hates me too}
