Just to flounce around my knowledge of laws and crap... well, if they go all the way, she can be arrested. And I confess that, if the Confessional v3 was closed, shouldn't this be the fourth one? Wait... Isn't sophomore second year of highschool? Wouldn't that mean she's in between the ages of 17 and 16? She can't get ARRESTED for that. Although, seeing as she's the older of the two she could still be charged for statutory rape. But I doubt that'll happen seeing as they are both still minors. He's 15, she's 16. I don't think she can get arrested He said he won't go all the way, since he can't buy condoms. (If you're under 18 and buy some you'll get your name and number down and they'll call your parents and tell them) Wait a second... That's.... That's just weird. Why wouldn't they want to PROMOTE safe sex? Don't they WANT less babies to be born? If two kids want to have sex they're gonna do it. Condoms or no. =/ Bleh, I guess it's just odd to me since I've had everything that's probably taboo in the states available to me since I was about 14. Personally I believe it's better that way. You learn not to over endulge, what to stay away from, when to stop, etc... Of course, learning what never to touch is based on what you've learned as a child. I'd never touch drugs such as weed, etc..., but I have quite a few friends that do it... alot. I think they're really stupid, but it's their choice. I've warned them, if they want to **** up their life it's their choice. Anyways, I confess I hate how complicated things are in life. T_T Oh, and that I'm really afraid of going bald. I have a full head of hair, but being bald scares the heck outta me. D= |

Oh yeah; I forgot about that. I know most places it's sixteen.
But if that was the case, then yeah, she could get arrested. It was in the news; it happened to one girl who was older than her boyfriend, and the dad of the boy found out and had her charged with rape, even though it was consented and stuff. She got arrested because her boyfriend was a minor and she wasn't.

Oh yeah; I forgot about that. I know most places it's sixteen. But if that was the case, then yeah, she could get arrested. It was in the news; it happened to one girl who was older than her boyfriend, and the dad of the boy found out and had her charged with rape, even though it was consented and stuff. She got arrested because her boyfriend was a minor and she wasn't. Really? In some places, someone below the age of consent can legally agree to sex as long as the partner is withing a certain age limit. But then again, in some places, if both partners are below the age of consent, then neither can agree to sex. And 12 is insanely young. |

Heh, this reminds me of a statistic I read trying to stop the "everyone is doing it" syndrome... thingy... Anyways, it was: "Not everyone is having sex these days, in fact, you'd be surprised to see how many people are still virgins. We took this surveys to various schools, and our results were conclusive. About 50% of 12 year olds are virgins!" I remember how much I laughed at the fact that they really expected to prove something with that. xD It's really sad though. =/ |

No one listens to this stuff anyway. Half of my friends who are 15/16 are parents to be or already parents. >.> I swear the people who put these rules up need to atleast ENFORCE them.
