Whoever's in charge of anime in North America really likes to tamper with the show. I was just watching One Piece and instead of a pistol, like in the manga, Kaya pulled out a slingshot. A slingshot!? How the hell is that going to hurt a pirate captain!? Come on, changing things like that takes away from the originalty of the story.

the thing about manga-anime conversions is that television regulations are much more strict. for example, do you see IY slice that thunder demon in half in the anime? no, you see the demon get cut and then dissintegrate. do you see the nude bathhouse scenes in Love Hina anime? no, you see towels.

Well you see down here they also screwed up certain series,,,,,,,,, like in Shaman King everyone gets all beat up and they stay practically intact so you can't even feel sorry for the poor guys..... but they censored that and.......... other things..........  |

I hate the people that Dub the Japanese shows they take out all the good parts. I finally got the uncut DVD boxset of Sailor Moon, and I looked at it, and about the only things that were cut out: 1. kissing 2, smoking 3. couple curse words I mean besides the curse words, I really don't see anything wrong. I mean little kids see people kissing and smoking all the time. that's what's so gay about it...... I don't know why but smoking in cartoons always freak me out.... and if parents like mine catch their children watching original manga versions that contain stuff like nudity would probably sue the network or something....... |

This is old news, but there was a HUGE stink over FLCL. You know about the parental lock feature of the v-chip, right? anyway, the parents of some kid blocked TV-14 shows. there was an error with the rating for FLCL, and it was listed as TV-PG. those of you who have seen FLCL even once can immediately say that it is not rated that low, due to it's having innuendo coming out of its ass. so the parents see the kid watching FLCL(specifically, episode 5, the one with Bunny Girl Haruko) and saw Ninamori eating a popsicle and other things. so they nearly sued CN.

CN should do what they did with Gundam Wing: air the butchered version during the day and show it uncut sometime at night.

I think they should do that on ALL the Anime shows that Cartoonnetwork shows. It would make it better for those of us who aren't kids!!!
