I have decided today that I will write a book. I'll be taking one of my fanfics, and making it into a book that will be sold in bookstores. Don't worry, I will be removing all names and similarities to Harvest Moon. I'll be using only the actual story that I have created. Wish me luck, it may cost me a lot of time and money, but this is something that I have wanted to do for a long time.

...I've spent too much time on Facebook today; I wanted to hit the "like" button.
Anyway, good luck! Will you submitting your book to a publisher or self-publishing?

Self Publishing.
I don't get facebook. I have an account, but I hardly know how to use it. Can I add you as a friend?

Planning out the chapters. I know that since it's already done, it sounds odd that I would be planning it. But I am trying to add more content to make it long enough to be a book, I am still writing an outline.

Awesome, if it publishes, tell us the name so we can read it. I always reading...or drawing. I'm a book/art/music nerd. I'm trying to write a book, I'm only 18 pages in. But enough about me. GOOD LUCK JUXAPOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure you retain your rights to your book. NaNoWriMo is just a fun thing to do

Good luck! Will you be using an online publisher? Uid uv lineuicedo...ruf tuac bipmecrehk fung drnuikr NaNoWriMo? Fuimt drao ufh dra nekrdc? "Translation: Out of curiousity...how does publishing work through NaNoWriMo? Would they own the rights? This year you can get a code for a free proof copy of your novel if you reach 50,000 words. It's through CreateSpace, so you own all the rights to the content and CreateSpace owns the rights to the templates, etc. You don't have to make it available to the public, but it's an option.
