At least that's a normal marriage, exlcuding age. Natsume has also added incest to the mix. In Another Wonderful Life, the guys you can marry have rivals, and Marlin's rival is Celia. You know... In Japan, there is less taboo surrounding incest. Same thing with underage love. They are much less tabooed when it comes to sex.

Nobody cares about underage love (unless it's like, 7 year olds) these days, honestly. It's the incest thing that is a little wrong, but I'm not one to question Japanese culture. What's gross for us is normal to them. And most likely vise versa. |
