Harvest Moon in EarthBound?

Not really. It's The Mysterious Mine, a PK Hack game.

PK Hack is a program that allows people to easily hack EarthBound. Most people just use it to screw around, making simple changes to the graphics and text. Sophomoric antics are par for the course. But others, like the folks working on the EarthBound Zero remake, use it to create new games using new and existing content.

That's what The Mysterious Mine is.

I'll skip my opinion of the game (the short answer: it's hit and miss, both graphically and story-wise), and get right to the point: Jack is in it.

Not only is he in it, he's one of the playable characters. In D&D terms, he's the fighter of the group. He appears to be based on Jeff (from EarthBound itself), since he has Jeff's Spy ability, but he's a lot stronger physically. I'm not sure which version of Jack he's supposed to be, but judging by where he lives and the relationships between the characters that also live there, I would guess HM64.

Was Mary Thomas's daughter in HM64? I've only briefly played a rom, I can't remember. She's his daughter is in this game. Karen also says her parents run a vineyard, which I know was the case in HM64.

Mineral Town is also in it, though it's not a particularly accurate representation of the Mineral Town in any of the games I've played. This is probably due to technical limitations more than anything. It's one of the worlds that Sora Trae and the gang visit. Several Harvest Moon characters inhabit the town, but most of the likenesses aren't that great. Mary's really good, Karen and Rick are okay (you can recognize them, anyway), the rest just suck.

I'm actually stuck in the Mineral Town stage at the moment. My team is under leveled and Trae is currently "pissed off" (it's his answer to Ness's homesickness, for those that have played EarthBound), and I don't know how to cure him.

Yeah, Mary was the Mayor's daughter in HM64.

This is a pretty neat idea, though it seems pretty mixed up. A lot of the references are from HM64 rather than the MT games. I'm not familiar with Earthbound though, so I won't be downloading the hack.
