Okay, so Butters is collecting the recipes in HM64. Stu's recipe is something called a strawberry dog. WTF is that?  And then I got Harris's recipe: Garlic Potato Beef Garlic. Potato. Beef. Beef. Beef. Since when do Harvest Moon people eat red meat? And then I got the Mayor's recipe: Fried Potatoes and Bacon Bacon, you guys. Bacon. Pigs don't even exist in HM64. What is this madness?! |

I have been playing HM64 the past few days for the first time in ages.
I was collecting recipes too and i was thinking the exact same thing.
'Since when does Harvest Moon have recipes with meat in them!?'
Maybe it's because we can't cook these recipes and can only collect them.
Whereas in other HM games we can cook recipes.
I don't know. XD

Yeah, I think when they actually implemented cooking they went vegetarian/fish, since they din't want to lose they're G rating...

It would be nice to pick up something to make a pot roast with, though...
I don't mind the idea of picking up meat at a store, but I would be a trifle concerned about having to slaughter your own animals for meat. Especially since animals raised for slaughter and animals raised for byproducts are rarely raised in the same place anymore...

Sadly true, no longer are they loved and treated well, but rather cruelly shoved together and fattened unnaturally quickly...I got to stop this discussion, it's just ugly.
