Today I came up with an idea for a non-fanfic story to think about.
I won't get into too many details of what it's about. The story is a bit more personal than anything I have ever written before. Me and a close friend have recently went our separate ways, and that made me want to write a story about our 6 years of friendship.

Writing and art can be a good way to work through your emotions. If nothing else, it might help you deal with what you've gone through

I am thinking of writing a Skyrim Fanfic. A tale about my three characters, and how would their individual lives affect one another.

This Summer, I will be taking a short break from whatever Fanfic I am working on, and will publish two special Harvest Moon fics that I always wanted to work on for what seems like forever. A quick preview, and I'll get working on them so they can be ready on time.
Toby's Summer Journey: Muffy's Christmas Part 3
The tale following the story of Muffy and her energetic son. Toby is now a teenager, and has decided what he wants to do with his life. He will cross over into Another Harvest Moon world to fulfill his goal. But that trip will be an adventure filled with new friends, and a new enemy. Working together, he will do what he feels is right!
Harvest Moon: Summer Memories
Another Back to Nature fanfic, but with a new twist I have never done before. The story will tell about the summer Jack/Pete/(Whatever I name him) spent time with his grandfather at the age of 8 years old. All the characters we love will be kids, and I will tell my version of what they went through together. Plus what I believe is the REAL story behind the girl from the mountain in the memory of Back to Nature.
Look forward to them

Okay. I m going to make a little side project. It's a semi-fanfic/Semi-personal experience. A story about everything that I have learned about relationships during the last 16 years of my life. But I will use Harvest Moon characters to tell it. I feel that it's gonna be quite interesting because this one is gonna be a bit different than what I normally write.
The genre of stories I usually like to get into is Drama: Sentimental This story is gonna be Drama: Hurt/Comfort
I feel that this Project story will have much more intense content than what I normally like to write. Driving a little off the Harvest Moon path, and getting into more human realism. Stripping away the normal "cartoony" perfect world Harvest Moon has always given us, and allowing characters to make mistakes with their life choices. Like most of my stories that are born in my head, I have a lot of details to sort through, but an ending is not yet chosen.
Hopefully, I can keep up with this tale, and it won't get washed off like some of my other projects in the past. Wish me luck out there.
I plan the title to be:
Relationships: A Harvest Moon story
(Notice that "Harvest Moon" is after the colon, not before like it usually is.)

I decided to change the name of the last fic I am working on. This song makes me think of the events of my fic, so i decided to name the fic after that song. This fic is now called:
Harvest Moon: Kiss the Rain
Side note: I unflipped the name. Since this story is getting so much of my attention, I decided to make it a main project as opposed to a side project.

I just found out that another Fanfic author has already started a Harvest Moon fanfic with the title "Kiss the Rain". However, that writer hasn't made a new chapter to that fic in 11 months, and there is no clue as to if the writer will finish his/her work.
Now I am in a pickle, What do I do?
Do I continue calling this fic "Kiss the Rain"? Should I come up with another title? Will it matter because it's a fanfic not an actual novel? Is it okay to claim a title if you are not willing to complete the story? Will other readers have a problem with more than 1 story having a similar/same title?

Are there other lyrics in the sing that would work for the title?

Is this on FF.net? I can't find it there.

That's weird...the link you posted clearly has Kiss the Rain in it, but the actual title seems to be A Harvest Moon Story Magical Melody. But when I Google Harvest Moon Kiss the Rain, I get that result.
Is it possible to change the name of a story on ff.net? That might be the case here?
In any event, since the story has no reviews and no followers, you might be safe to use the original title you had in mind.

Okay, Enishi is down to it's final chapter. Since the fic is almost over, I have a couple of decisions to make. Should I:
A) Post a new fic (Harvest Moon: Popuri's journey)
B) Finish a fic (Harvest Moon: Brawl or Melody of the Heart)
C) Continue a fic (Harvest Bravo or Rune Factory: Rivals)
Note: Posting a new fic means quicker chapters. Continuing Harvest Bravo or Rune Factory Rivals may take some times since these fics are older, and many chapters need to be reworked.

I vote A, since I'm a fan of Popuri
