Both galleries are currently closed to guests. You have to be logged in to view them. I'd like to open the HM gallery to guests. The non-HM section would stay closed.
My reason for wanting to do so is to implement a new feature, similar to the reccomended reading, where we can link to threads and show off people's art work. It's kind of pointless to add such a feature if I link to threads a guest can't visit though.
What are your thoughts?

Hmm, you have a point...
I'm just wondering if people would exploit it as an excuse not to join...
But then again, maybe a lot of people join JUST to see the gallery. Might explain how like, 10 members out of 800(or wherever we are now)are actually active!

Maybe we shouldn't??? I mean it would like encourage people to join but... they won't even be active... we need more people on this case.

Yeah, but I really don't see a lot of people lurking; the active users in the past 24 hours box doesn't show a lot of people at all.
Maybe if guests could view, but not comment, it might be a good half-way point?

There are only two parts: HM and non-HM. Only the HM part will be opened to guests. The non-HM part will be only be open to members

i dont get why only the HM part gets to be shown??? well... this is just an expirement. Oh yeah, butters (a li'l bit off topic) my classmate joined but she cant login to her account. Maybe thats why no one is joining??? like there's a bug or something
