Is anybody still playing?
I've still got a ton of Nintendo stuff to collect, as well as paintings. I've got spares of both to trade. I'm also looking for a Bishop and a Chessboard Rug.

Still playing regularly. My 3ds hinge has a crack in it, so I've been limiting how much I play until I can repair/replace it. I think Santa might be getting me a new one.

Yeah, that happened to my first DS (which incidentally, I got around the same time I joined the forums).
There's this company that sells repair parts, I'll rebuild it one of these days.

The hinge is just a natural weak point. Fortunately, my original DS didn't fall apart until the day I got my 3DS. So I'm only in a bind when I want to play a GBA title.

I never had a problem with the hinges on my ds or ds lite. I used the 3ds more though, which was probably a factor

It's a moving part. Friction causes wear, causes breakdown. Basic physics.
Fortunately Nintendo has top-grade repair facilities in-house.
