The more you write, the better you will get.

My tip: Make sure the grammar is perfect so that it can be read easy. Let the words come out slowly. When you're done, don't revise by yourself. You should revise the errors and you should have some friends or family members to read it and rate it on how interesting it is. If it is boring, then consider changing the plotline or making up another story.

these are my writing rules:
1.) never EVER rush your story. it comes out like fried poopies on a stick that way.
2.) never EVER force yourself to write. if you're not in the mood, then try another time, otherwise it sounds forced.
3.) instead of using the word for something, describe it.
personally, I write on the fly. if I don't know where the story's going then it's not likely the readers will know either, lol.

nice advice zinovia. i agree. sometimes i just dont feel like writing, so i dont. and sometimes i just get a burst of insperation and i write untill i fall asleep on the computer desk. lol.
my advice is... write about what you WANT to write about. writing should be a fun thing. thats why i hate writing stories for school and stuff, because they make me write about something i dont want to. and write when you feel like it. dont force it, or it turns out like crap. use correct grammer and spelling and describe things as well as possible. and... practice makes perfect! ;D

My advice: Use your imagination, be creative, don't take harsh crticisism to heart. Only care what others think to a certain extent. Believe in yourself.

My advice?
Write about what you love. Only then will passion shine through your work to the reader. Whenever we are given a writing assignment in school I warp it to make it something that I love, thus making my work a great quality.
I also advise that people use many descriptions so to help the reader picture it. I'm glad that whoever it was used Animorphs as an example because Applegate loves to use excellent descriptions.

I lack advice. But just think about cookies when writting. It works, yeah. <_<. Whatever.

Get a muse.
Seriously.
Now, this can be a real person, an animal, a place, or even something that isn't real. If you feel or touch something and it makes you head scream "WORK!" Think about it to give you ideas. You can have many muses, you can have one. You can have different ones.
Though food does sometimes work great as a subsitute.

Ask my Writing teacher, I forgot, but I'll ask.
I think it means if the writer has tears during the writing, so will the reader, and vice-versa.
Edit: it means if you dont have feelings for the piece while your writing it, neither will the reader. I'm pretty sure.

i don't know if i should be giving advice.........
personally i don't find myself to be a very good writer. then again, i haven't really had much feedback; the only people who have read my fan fics (well, actually it was only one -_-') are my mom and the judges of the fan fic contest on hm archives a few months ago.
