www.angelfire.com/gundam/otto/grayswandir/mary-sue-test.htmlAn interesting test. I did the characters from my comic: Angela: 20,The Non-Sue. Your character is a well-developed, balanced person, and is almost certainly not a Mary Sue. Congratulations! Adrian: 17, o.o; That seems odd, I thought he would score higher than Angela. I may go back and redo this. <.<;

You know the type of charatcers (usually seen in fanfics, but can occur anywhere) who are extremely attractive, and good at everything and everyone loves them? That's a Mary Sue. Like a girl named Indigo Ba'Wren, and she has long indigo colored hair, and her eyes are blue, but change color. She is extremely beautiful, and everyone loves her (except for the ones who hate her because they are jealous of her). She is only 17, yet she is the greatest magic user on the planet. She has a talking horse...well you get the idea. That's a Mary Sue.

I used a character from a science fiction sotry I have been writing. I mean, come off it, this is ORIGINAL, but nooo, I had to get some 60 points.

21-35 points: Borderline-Sue. Your character is cutting it close, and you may want to work on the details a bit, but you're well on your way to having a lovely original character. Good work. Tested a character in my CYOA. Got 31 points. It was kinda hard since he's a giant eye .

Let me see this test, yep I've seen this one before. It's not a very good test because it only deals with the superficial aspects of Mary Sues.
It's like my Arkhem scored something like a 40 on it, but everyone agrees he's definately not a Mary Sue. If anything, he's borderline psychotic. He hates basically everyone, everyone dispises him, he has a trigger hair temper which explodes violently. He once even nearly beat a child to death trying to get the kid to tell him something.
Yes, he has more character flaws than any character I've ever written. He is hatable, disgusting, a horrible person. He makes Jack from Nightmare look like a genuinely nice guy. And it is even more thrown into contrast by Lily, his traveling partner by neither of their choice.
If anything, Lily is more of a Mary Sue, though she only scored a 14. She isn't particularly strong like Arkhem, but she makes up for it in a pure heart and connectivity to other people that few can match. I mean, heck, just listen to that! She sounds like a Mary Sue right there.
Go figure.
(And yes, I did somewhat base Jack and Mary on Arkhem and Lily. But I toned them both down... a lot)

Mary Sues... I hardly ever use original characters, but I did make a Mary Sue on purpose once... it was in a story called, "She Must Die". It was nothing like the title, but was very funny.
But she only scored a 19 :\
