I'm writing a really cool story right now but I can't think of a good name for the main character. What names do you want to see on a hero.

Lief. I like to take one of the character's traits and translate it to another language.

I do that too, Akane. What does he do in the story to become a hero?

Roko sounds nice That's always the name of my horse in HM. Yes, and, is there anything that greatly infects him in the story? i.e. His parents die, ect.

It's not a very detailed story but basically to become a hero he finds a mystical sword which gets him caught up in an ancient person's destiny.

Oh...
That doesn't really add up to what I was thinking. I still like my first idea, though.

Arthur.
It conjures up images of King Arthur, so it's a good, noble name, very strong and manly

Thanks everyone for your suggestions butters you can go ahead and lock this now if you want. I'm sure I'll have this story up sooner or later too so lookout for one of your names.
