They're called Spoilers because the spoil the plot of the book/movie/tv show/video game/etc for someone who hasn't seen or read the book/movie/whatever. We have a spoiler code that hides spoilers, like so: I'm a spoiler! I ruin the fun for people who haven't seen the movie yet! Use it! I, for one, am tired of having stuff spoiled, and I WILL issue warnings for un-marked spoilers. Also, spoilers don't, for lack of a better word, expire. There is always someone who hasn't seen the movie.
