I'm writing a story. I've got the two main charries(Peter and Kylie) all set up. But I'm having trouble forming a plot. Anyone know good ways to get an idea for a plot?

Start with a problem, then build up to the beginning, and build up to the end. That's how I always do mine. =]

Go for a nice long walk around somewhere, whether it's a city, a town, or in the country-side. Take pictures of things you like. If the opportunity arises, try a brand new experience. I always find my ideas flow better after leaving my computer and going for an inspirational hunt. Sometimes, while you're out looking at things, a really good idea just hits you, you know?

I have a few suggestions, but first gotta know if you want a modern settling, a fantasy setting, a futuristic settle. Do you want the story to be action pact, gruesome horror, supernatural horror, or a romantic comedy or just plain comedy?
