I love it! More! You should change the title though because that ones sounds a little weird.

Late! Late!
Chapter 7
I looked deeply into her dark brown eyes. They were beautiful, and still dazed. Did she realize what she was saying?
"M-M-May," My voice was barely under my control. It sounded strange, even to my ears. "Do you know what your saying?" She could have mistaken my words for mere mutterings, but she didn't. She had heard me loud and clear.
"About what?" She blinked. She seemed genuinely confused. Was it not obvious?
"About him. He's a jerk. He's scum, May! Scum!" I regretted my words immediately. What if I hurt May? How could I live with myself, if I did? I was too afraid to look her in the eyes, just in case I had.
She sighed deeply, instead.
"Stu, look. Naozumi seems like scum to a lot of people, but to a lot of other people he's really kind." She explained to me like I was only five years old. "Please, Stu! Give him one more chance! Come on!" She seemed to be begging. I was completely mesmerised.
"Fine." I sighed acting angry. "But why do you care if I like him or not?" I was earnestly interested.
"'Cause your my best friend, Stu! I want my friends to be your friends and vise versa." She was smiling broadly.
There was that word, friend, again. It cut me deeply.
"And also 'cause he's coming here in a few minutes." She added after hesitation. She looked away from my eyes.
"Mayyyyyy!" This time my anger was sincere. Naozumi was the last person I wanted to see right now, or ever.
"Oh come on! Plus you promised to give him a chance, remember?" She crossed her arms stubbornly. "I told you, he's not that bad! So be good okay?" Me? Be good? I was certainly never the instigator!
"Me? But he-" She cut me off suddenly.
"Stu!" She was serious.
I sighed in defeat. "Fine, but only today, May! Only today!"
"Mayyyy! Guest! A handsome one, too!" We heard Barley shout. "The farm boy! I heard his father owns a second house! He's filthy rich! Marry this one! This is the one, I'm-" May interrupted him, blushing heavily.
"Gramps! Shut your trap!" She answered him, shouting.
The relationship between Barley and May was a special one. They were never awkward or fake towards each other, and there was always love.
"Oh May! Your so ungrateful!" Barley was ranting once again. "Any young maiden in this whole town would love to have to have a grandfather so kind, so lovable, so-" May cut him off, a second time.
"Not this young maiden! Just send him up and stop your blabbering!" She said teasingly. We heard Barley's complaints later followed by creaking footsteps on the wooden staircase.
In stepped Naozumi in the doorway. His brown hair was combed neatly into a hairstyle that much resembled his father in his early days. I saw a flicker of sheer resentment turn into a smile as he eyed me. For May's sake, perhaps?
"Hey May! Stu! What a pleasant surprise!" He put an emphasis on my name. "Really." He eyed me again. Our eyes met for a second. I quickly looked away.
"Lemme go get us some sodas! Nao! Grape or Peach? Stu, I already know what you want." She winked at me.
"I'm feeling bold." He smirked. "Peach." He told her without taking his eyes off of me.
"Comin' right up!" She dashed down her wooden stairs. His green eyes were still intently focused on me.
"Man, Stu. I'm impressed. You sure are doing a good job." He scoffed.
"O-Of what?" I was afraid to ask.
"Of being May's stalker. First the barn and now here, man she just can't shake you can she?" He scorned playfully.
"Y-Y-You were there, too, and now your here, as well." I stammered defensively.
"Yes. Except for the main difference between a friend and a stalker, I'm actually wanted." He sneered.
I knew he was wrong. I knew for sure he was wrong. Then why was there a little voice in the back of my head saying, 'She may be just like Elli...' ?

Lol. To me personally the best relationships are the ones where there is no line between friendship and family, so I mean thats my way of putting it.

Here is the next chapter!
Chapter 8
I shook the thought from my head, at least I tried to.
"Your wrong." I told Naozumi in a whisper.
"What did you say, little orphan Annie?" He said in a mocking voice.
"I said your wrong!" I was shouting this time. "May was my friend from the beginning! Before she even cared about you! She's my best friend! I lo-" I stopped myself, before I said something I regretted.
"You what?" His personality shifted from mocking to hostile. "You love her? Do you? Well you're so much damn dumber then you look, you freaking waif." He scoffed. His right hand was suddenly yanking on the collar of my shirt. "Stay away from, May. Got that, Annie?" His anger mellowed into an insolent smirk.
"A-And what if I don't?" I was shocked at my own bravery. He harshly pushed me against her bedroom wall.
"Oh I think you know what will happen." He laughed.
"Oh, I don't think I do." I said bravely. What was I doing? I was surprised at my own behavior.
"What did you say, you little homeless mutt?" His unoccupied hand was shaking, turning into a fist. My brain was thinking fast. I had to shut up, before I got seriously hurt. After all, Naozumi was one strong guy.
Somehow my mouth kept running.
"I said I don't know. Care to explain?" My mouth turned into a cold hearted smirk. "I'm feeling bold." I quoted his words mockingly.
"Oh I'll explain." Naozumi said angrily. His left fist tightened and was getting ready for a punch. My brain was on panic mode, but somehow the rest of me wouldn't listen.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Nao." I said defiantly. "Unless you want May to see how much of a damn jerk you really are."
His fist eased dramtically, but he was still shaking.
"Hiding behind a girl, just what I'd expect from a wuss like you." He was obviously trying to attack me verbally what he wished he could do physically.
"Yup." I smirked. "Always have, always will." What was I doing? Was I trying to get myself killed?
"Hmpt." Naozumi scoffed. "You just assigned yourself a death sentence, little Annie." He let go of my collar.
And I felt the exact same way.
Please comment! Stu is so sassy! Lol, jk, jk
