okay, so, my birthday's coming up, and my mom told me to go make a list of the stuff i want. problem is, i don't really know. D: i already have some books picked out, but i'd really like at least one new game (considering this and christmas are the only times i get 'em for free).
so, does anyone have any good suggestions for games? i'm mainly looking for some kind of rpg, preferably turn-based and on a nintendo handheld system (though, it doesn't have to be). i don't mind point and click games, like the ace attorney series either, so feel free to recommend those kind, too.
i'll need some suggestions in the next week or so, or my mom's gonna start getting on my case about not deciding. <_<'

Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy IV (4). Those are both AMAZING RPG's that you can get for the DS. Kind of perfect right?

If you don't mind games with religious themes and summoning demons, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is one of the best games I've played in a while. It gets kind of difficult on the fifth day and on, though.
The World Ends With You is great as well, but it's not turn-based and it might be really hard to find by now.

thanks, guys!
i've heard really good things about both chrono trigger and TWEWY, but the only things i've heard about the Devil Survivor one were in a nintendo article or something, so i don't know much about it. =/ i'll have to look these games up to find more info on them.
oh, and i have played FFIV. it was AMAZING. one of my favorite FF games. =D

TWEWY is deff worth getting. Tons of replay value, great story, and amazing use of touch screen. I've played the game over 3 times, and right now, i have 50+ hours on my current play xD.

Don't forget the characters! Sho and Mr. Hanekoma are too awesome for words and Another Day is the very definition of epic.
The only problem is the music. Some is great while some is...ick.

I agree with the Shin Megami Tensei. I've played their Persona series, and it was one of the most amazing games I've ever played. They were for PS2 though, so having Devil Survivor on DS is for sure worth getting.
If you are a Golden Sun fan, I would suggest you go and put a preorder out for Golden Sun DS.
Other good games that are turn based and RPG......Anything in the Mana DS series, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest IV or V, and a personal favorite is Summon Night Swordcraft Story 3. I think it's for the DS, and it's made by Atlus, same people who made Devil Survivor and Persona series.

Yeah, Golden Sun is one of the best RPG's I have played. Have they announced the release date for the 3rd one? Also, Tales of Symphonia if you haven't already played that. It's for the Gamecube, and it's one of my favorite games as well.

There is always the Megaman Star Force series. The third one will be coming out soon, if it has not already. It has a nice mix of RPG, though not turned based. Never the less, fun. And there is alwasy the original Megaman Battle Network series.

Disgaea is a good strategy game, just make sure you don't get lost with plot or how to conquer things. If you get frustrated easily, chances are you won't like it.

Dragon Quest IV.
This series as a whole is largely under appreciated in western countries, with flashier RPG's like Final Fantasy around. But they're definitely worth playing.
