So...I'm getting a PSP for my birthday and I'm wondering whether anyone can recommend some games to me. RPGs are my favorite, though I'll play anything as long as it has nothing to do with sports or racing. Downloadable games are all right, too.
So far I have Patapon 2, ToVs. on the way, and will pre-order Persona, so any games like those are fine.
Thank you!

I'm getting the PSP/Dissidia bundle pack! I made at 40 hour pay check last week and I already paid off my loan for this month.

If you like Star Ocean, I recommend getting Star Ocean: First Departure and Second Story. It has high replay because save for four set characters, you can get multiple endings depending on which partners you choose to keep/let go and hidden sidequests that are character specific. Actually, if you really want a challenge, you can do Star Ocean Second Story with only two characters throughout the whole game.
Other RPG's I recommend are Tales of Radient Mythology, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, Final Fantasy Crisis Core, and pre-order the new Soul Calibur game for PSP

Thank you for your recommendations! I'll definitely look into Dissidia, though I admit I haven't played a FF game except for XII (please don't kill me! I'll get VII as soon as I get my PSP).
Star Ocean looks good and the first one is pretty cheap, so I'll definitely get it next time I'm at BB. And I've been looking for ToW: RM, but it looks like it's out of print and all of the online stores don't have it in English, so I may skip it and GG (unless P-A has it) unless I can find used copies.
Also, I figure I'd mention it here since this is about PSP games. Persona 3 is going to be released! You can choose your character's gender and you can actually control your party members.

Back up and hold the phone there. Please tell me where you saw this and when it's being released! I don't hav the PS2 one since I borrowed it, but if I can get a remake I'll have pretty much all of them but number 2.
Also, Tales of the World is on Amazon.com

There are some magazine scans floating around and it's on Kotaku. The release date is November 1 in Japan and it will probably be released here next year.
If they ship to Canada I may order it, though I might have found a copy for even cheaper (hopefully it's not an error).

Thankfully they didn't put 'The Answer' Part on it. I personally found it, while giving it closure, rather stupid. For obvious reasons.

I personally recommend Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, if you're into Disgaea or traditional RPG's. It has a new story line, Etna Mode, which I've heard is pretty good. My hubbie bought it and he loves it!
