Sooo, question for the avid Zelda fans on the board...
How old is Link in Link to the Past???
I mean, small pixels and all, you really can't tell. I know the GBA he's rather young, but that one changes the storyline so...how old was he in the original? I always thought he was late teens, ya know, about the same age as Twilight Princess, but I'm not sure and I find myself curious...

The artwork used in the game manual and guides depict a teenager/young adult. I'd guess he's at least 16, but likely not not older than 18.

My husband thinks 15, because Link's uncle orders him to stay in at the beginning, indicating he's still young enough to be ordered around, so to speak.

He gets ordered around in every game, so isn't that a moot point?

the youngest link is a tie between Minish Cap and OoT Link. In those, they truly say he is a pre-teen. OoT Link was about 10, Minish Cap Link was around the same since only children with pure hearts could see the Minish. It's funny how Zelda got a nifty Linkish wish granting hat at the end of the game, but you never see it again.
So putting those two together, and how every other Link is anywhere from 12 (Wind Waker) to about 17-19 (OoT and Twilight Princess), Link to the Past should be somewhere around the middle, along with the original Link.

Though you know, in the upcoming Zelda Wii, he's going to be much older. Personally, I suspect he's going to be 30 or close, i.o., a full grown adult.
But to stay on topic, WHO DESIGNED THE ICE PALACE AND WHERE CAN I FIND THEM?!!! I swear to hunt them down and gut them like a fish. Along with whoever designed Skull Dungeon...

*shrugs* I dunno. I played it, I beat it. Didn't think it was all that hard after you finally made sure he wasn't a bunny anymore.
Only game I have never beaten is 4 swords and that's because I never had the link cable to play with 3 other people.

Yep, they are trying something MAJORLY different this time!
I know, GBA is supposed to be easier, I think I've just done too many dungeons in a row lately. Or maybe it's the 7 level map that's intimidating me...
