The goal of NaNoWriMo is to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. Is anyone from HMA attempting it this year? I'm trying again; I'm redoing last years novel. I really liked it, but I kept getting further behind. My NaNo username is Miss_Butters

I don't know. I've tried before, and 50,000 words in 30 days is a bit much for the level I currently produce at.
I am trying to ramp up my productivity, though. My goal for October is to write 1,000 words a week, beyond school assignments. From there, we'll see.
EDIT: For anyone who cares/knows how, look for Mage the Observer.

I am doing it again!
*proud winner of last year*
...Tough I still did not correct it yet. I got through about twenty pages...no time!
Anyways, my last story was the start of a zombie apoclupse. This year...something more magical. And with family and romance in it
I know, I scared myself with it!

It's begun! I have little over 2000 words; I wanted to get ahead a little bit.
My eyes are tired.

I haven't started. Between school and winding down from school, I've yet to find the time. Maybe I'll make some progress this weekend...
(Probably not).

Have you had time to write anything yet, Mage?
My novel is going really slow. Aside from the prolouge, I decided to write it in chronological order, which means that my main character wasn't even born until Thursday. I figured I can change things around when I edit it.

I've got a few pages that I wrote last night on my clipboard; 200 at best.
To be honest, I'm not really trying that hard. I've got things to take care of for school, and TVTropes.com has (as it tends to) eaten my soul.

*runs in*
GOD, NANO.
Mine has been going slow. I also realized that my novel is going to be bigger then 50000 words.
I'm gonna do it Tolkien style, and do one sections "Book 1" and "Book 2." Yeeeep.

I didn't really try. I like the ideal of NaNo, and I freely donate, but I'm not up to the pace.
