dunno. This is mostly a discussion and have fun board. The RP didn't come back till recently, and even then it wasn't advertised very much
Most you can do is try getting a bunch of HM fanatics to spread the word about the HMA site over the net and see what happens.

Hmm... Banner ads might be a good idea. I post on a lot of message boards, as I'm sure a lot of you do as well. Putting a banner in our signatures on other boards would certainly help get the word out. I'm not talking about small ones (like I've seen on here before), I'm talking about wider ones that span most of the signature section, something more like this:  The link of my example does not work, unfortunately. HTML code seems to be incompatible with this board, and I don't know how to write one for whatever code it uses. |

new members could be good.. gonna sound silly, but anyway for the ones wgo use facebook.. etc, to advertise? A lot of people play the farming games, they might really like HM a whole lot better!, might draw some people in? just a thought..

But we can all do that. I don't post as much as I used to because there aren't a lot of topics that I'm interested in. |

well i drifted here because of the harvest moon comic butters made so you should probably advertise them in the comic.
actually, i'm also slowly drifting away. the only thing I usually do is occasionally stop by to check the kappa board. and lots of people join and post a bit then disappear. i guess the hma is getting pretty boring

Perhaps bring back really old popular topics. Just for something really new. Since it has probably been long enough that it can be discussed freshly again. You could make a cycle out of it. Maybe driffed out of the usual interest zone and introduce new ideas and topics you haven't had prior. May not be popular immediately but could peek peoples interests.
Just posted the link to the board onto the Facebook news feed. Haha, not so sure how it will go over but its worth a try,

I'm not bored to come here. But when I first joined, I had a **** load of time and lets face it, we always did have a younger crowed coming and going. We had a bunch of people who would pass by and not stay around, but we had at least fifteen active members on per day. The problem now is a lot of the standar members (like myself) have now had to take on other responsibleites. A couple of weeks ago work puts me on for some office training. Turns out I've began training to be a supervisor. I have six stores this week to work at. That's just my opinion, though. |

I as well am drifting, but I don't think it's HMA's fault in my case. To be honest, I came here three or four years ago because I was almost HM-obsessed, and nowadays I barely play or do anything related to HM except come here once in a while. I remember being a little bid disappointed because most of the conversations seemed to be about non-HM topics. Now, I guess, that doesn't matter to me as much. I think it would help (at getting new members) if we added more content about HM. I honestly love the boards and convos we have now, but I don't think it would hurt to add anything. I'd just recommend more threads about updates and help and such. Also, to expand, I think Facebook would be good. On top of that, we could get the FanFictions running (which they are still), FanArt, and other things that we could apply HM to. Just a thought.
