I'm trying to learn how to make Curry, IRL, but I want to make REAL Indian Curry, not cheap knock-offs. I was wondering if anyone here might have an idea for a Curry recipe or a good site for real Indian curry?

Try looking up the Good Eats recipe on Food Network's website. The episode on curry also gives some good perspective on what "Indian" curry actually is. I will say that I've played a little with McCormick's Red Curry Powder (the type from the Gourmet Collection line), and careful use of it can be pretty useful. |
