If you know me well enough, you know that I grew up on games. I started on the Atari 2600, and still play games today. Of course you knew that! But what you probably don't know is what games are my absolute favorite. So here I am giving you a change to get to know what are my favorite games of all time, and why. And I would also love to invite all to post their favorite games. #5: Elder Scrolls 5 SKYRIMThis game is so much fun. You play as an adventurer who rummages through countless number of dungeons, caves, and villages to find rare items and riches. I don't care too much of the story, but it's there at least. I can play this game all day for years. People today still worry that I might be playing this game too much. I already put more than a hundred hours into the game, and still counting. The extra content I download only makes the game better. Marriage, adopting kids, building house, pets, all this makes the game feel like a Rune Factory game, only bloodier. #4: Harvest Moon 64Come on! You all knew that a Harvest Moon game was gonna be in this list. And what other Harvest Moon game other than my favorite out of the bunch. Even though it's my favorite, it's not the best in the series. Harvest Moon: AWL is the best. But even so, this is the game that I have the most fond memories, and also helped shape the person I am today. #3: Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's IslandThis game is the best Super Mario game in my opinion. It's fun, colorful, creative, different, and deviates from the plain ordinary platformer that Mario was until that point. I don't care too much for the games after this one. And I only like select few before this title. But this game I hold highly because of it's fond memories I have, and the fact that I still play this game today! Very few games live this long in one person's library. #2: Pokemon Gold & SilverYes, I still love these games. These games are what I consider the best in the series. I know that the remakes are better, but those are still considered Gold and Silver in my eyes. The reason these games are above Red and Blue is because (Sigh, I am ashamed to admit) those games are broken! Yes, i just commited Pokemon sin. I am not too big of a fan of Blue and Red. Those games are damn good, but not great. They are glitchy, unbalanced, and aged terribly. The remakes fixed all those problems, but Gold and Silver topped them. They fixed all the problems that came with Red and Blue, and solidified Pokemon's roots in the world. Before I get to the #1 spot, I must talk about the Honorable mention: Ragnarok OnlineThis MMORPG game was a ton of fun. Like Skyrim, this was an adventure game exploring a giant world for dungeons and treasure. Joining friends in this epic game of constant training, and battling the terrifying MVP's for glory. The problem with this game is that not only did it mark one of the best moments in my life, it also marked some of the worst. The community sucked, filled with trolls and bossy people. If you belonged to a guild, you may as well have no rights in or out of the game, the guild leader dictated everything you did. Not to mention that the game fell because of the bots, and the non-caring moderators. This game tried to survive through one of the many Private servers, and I used to work for one; Ragnarok Online: Forever. Too bad the server no longer exist. And Now for the number one game of my life! #1: TerranigmaThis game is a rare gem. It was never released to the states, despite being translated already. This game was for the Super Nintendo, and I did not know this game exist until about 7 years ago. What makes this game special is not only how much fun this game was, but the impact it had on my life. The game is easy to complete mainly on how much fun it was. It's a free moving RPG that had many 3-D platforming elements. Because the game is so free, and there is a variety of gameplay and strategy, I could not put the game down. But the story was the part that caught me hook, line, and sinker. The story is amazing on it's own, but the ending was so intense, that my emotions were severely disturbed. I was placed into an emotional breakdown for about a week or so. After I passed that part of my life, I was no longer the same person ever again. This game helped me understand something I could never learn in a school, or listening to an old man recall his life story. I'm with ya on RO. I was a full-support priest on the Iris server for about a year, and it left some scars. Didn't help that I wasn't very good at the job, and the resulting stress left me at my worst.

Nah, lots of Pokemon fans can admit that Blue and Red are flawed. But since you're enjoying Diamond, you might want to seriously consider Heart Gold and/or Soul Silver. They're my favorites in the Pokemon series
