before i knew what hair grease was, i used to think my grandpa (who i've never met; just heard about from my mom) put grease like chicken grease in his hair. i was such a stupid kid..... -_-'

I used to believe that my toys got up and walked out of my room in the middle of the night. I was COMPLETELY convinced that that was true. >.>

I used to beleive (when I was about four) that the actors on live action tv shows were real people, and that the events of each episode were things going on in their real lives caught on film.

Sorta like "reality" tv, except that I thought that they didn't know that they were being watched.

I used to believe that if you drop something on an escalator and it went through the crack where the steps go through, that it would reappear at the other crack a few minites later.

One of my parents told me vampires weren't real, so I also once beleived that vampire bats weren't real either, and got freaked out when I saw one for the first time on the Discovery Channel.

Adults, grown men and women, believe that about the conveyor belts at the check-outs at the grocery store I work in. -_-;
They lay their money on the moving belt, it goes under, gets trapped underneath, but they think it'll come back out. People are idiots.
