1) When I was little, I seriously believed that little leprechauns would come into your classroom on St. Patricks Day and wreck the room if you didn't leave them little houses to play in and green cake to eat. I believed that, for a German Holiday whose name I can't remember, if you didn't leave little walnut beds on your window sill for the brownies to sleep in, then they would wreck your house.
2) I believed I had a shafeshifting imaginary friend made of bubble soap, named Fireplace, who lived in a tree stump on my schools playground and turned into a super hero to make friends stop fighting.
3) I believed that the raindrops that ran backwards on car windows were tiny living creatures called "Goobulees," and placed bets on which one was going to win the race to the end of the window.
4) I believed that scientists had successfully fused together a rabbit and an owl; and I felt so smart about it, that I bragged to my little sister. Note- she still believed me up until about a year ago... Today, she's 16.

I believed that if I hiked up a mountain in Germany, a brownie would attack me an steal my trail mix.

I used to believe that coffee cake was made from coffee :/ I hated coffee, therefore I never ate it until I was like 15.
