I bet you anything Soldier will be dead around that time too.
Try to see if you can get some music encoded into topics. I tried 2 forms of coding yesterday, but it didn't work. Maybe only admins can do that.

I would recommend against the music....I just think websites with music are annoying....course if I'm the only one, I've always got the mute button too....

by the by, while you're maintaining and stuff, might I suggest a bolder color for the links to your different boards? agains the white winter trees (which are very pretty, by the way) it's difficult to see them.

Here's a list of the changes I made:
-this new Bulletin Board! I moved the rules, introductions and important announcments here
-combined the two fanfiction boards into one!
-re-ordered boards
-deleted the folder request and reason boards
