Does anyone know how to repair a scratched CD or do you just have to buy a new game?

Depends on how bad the scrat is. If it's so bad the game does not run or run right then it's done but if it's some scrates that make the game skip there are some things that you can put on games to make them run right.
Just to let you know I did put some stuff on my game disk but it did't work.

Use the disc Dr. It fixes most scratches, saved my FF9.

Buy a Game Dr. (specifically. Because the others just don't seem to work on them) and try for an automatic one. the hand crank ones are so tiring. From experience. If it's a really bad one, I'd try and save it, but wouldn't hold out hope.
