Anybody play this game? Is it good? I'm wondering because my mom is getting it for me and I've heard that it sucks, and that its awsome....
I'm also getting Fire Emblem: The sacred stones.
And hopefully if my mom found them or ordered them online.
Kirby and the Canvas Curse
and
Devil May Cry 3.
Anybody play these games? Anybody have anything to say about them?

The only thing that sucks about BK is the voice acting. If you think you can stand it, turn the voice output to "Surround" whether or not you have surround sound; it will remove the cardboard tube effect. However, it has a lot more pros than cons. The game is longer than Tales of Sypmhonia. The battle system, while yes, it does use cards, they only represent the weapons and items. There is a large random factor in battle, but that encourages you to make a better deck. You can also control leveling up. You must go to a church (availble through ANY Blue Flower in the game) to level up and class up once you've gained enough experience (Level Up) or proper Magnus (Class Up). I also found BK had beautiful graphics. The only way to make money in this game is by selling Magnus, and the best, pictures of enemies are the best to sell. However, money isn't the most important thing and later into the game, you shouldn't have too many money problems (I got over 3 million G just by training in battles and taking pictures) An interesting thing about pictures is that it's value will change depending if Xelha or Mizuti casted Light/Dark Flare, how long you keep it before selling it and the type of enemy in the picture. Magnus also change over time. A green banana can be used to attack, until it ripens into a yellow banana and used as a healing item. Once it rots though, you can use to try and poison your target. BK also has the best soundtrack I've ever heard. From freaky, haunting tunes to rock boss themes, it's got it all. I'll send over some samples if you want. There are 1022 Magnus cards to collect and it's a challenge. I only had about 700 when I beat the game.

Oh yeah, and Sacred Stones, don't expect it to pull you in as much as the first one.

Yeah, Sacred Stones is supposed to be really easy compared to FE7 and uberly easy compared to FE6. It looks interesting though... I'm especially interested in the wyvern knights.

Acutally, play-time wise, SS took me about the same amount of time it did to complete the first, mainly because the overworld was such a good idea.

Well thats what I call her.... Mainly because you first meet her in the candy town, and she's a princess... and she loves sweets.

1. She's not a princess. 2. No, Melodia doesn't join your party, though she is an important character.
If you're that far, you're getting close to the "plot twist"

*MAJOR SPOILERS*
Heh... Can't say I did'nt see that coming... it was sorta obvious... Yet impacting all the same. Crap... I have to use Xelha now... Why could'nt SHE be evil? That way I could happily kill her... And does'nt she get that I don't like her? I've been responding negatively to whatever she says since I first heard her say : "Aqua blow!" >_<
EDIT: DD, watch out. Even though we're not on GameFAQs, still mark spoilers for these types of messages. This is a critical plot detail. -N2G
