A Harvest Moon/ Kingdom Hearts Cross-Over.
Slowly walking towards the inn, keyblade in one hand and hi-potion in the other, I took a deep breath, wondering what my father would say. Would he be mad? Woud he pleased? That I'm the weilder of the third keyblade? Raising my hand slightly, I opened the door of the inn. Smiling weakly as I took a quick look around, I saw my father at the counter.
"Father?" I said to him, trying to hide the keyblade behind my back. "Ann, is that you?" he smiled back at me, but looking in his eyes, I could tell was confused. "Yes dad, it's me." "Oh Ann, sweetheart, your so... different"
I walked off, waving as I did so, into my old room. It hadn't changed one bit, but that was made me sad I guess. I had changed so much, yet my home-life, so little. An evelope lay on my bedside table, I took it into my hands and opened it with caution. There was a letter inside it, which read:
"Ann my dearest, I hope you shall not be alarmed, but I am leaving thee for now. Rick and I are going to search for the golden chicken again. Sorry to storm off like this during your trip to Traverse Town, but I must. Hope to see you soon, and hope your trip was a blast.
Love Cliff. xx"
A few tears left my eyes as I read the letter, taking in every word like a bullet to my heart. That second last word "love", it made me feel uneasy. I was used to being called his "dearest" but now was not the time, I was in love, thats true. But not with him. I was due to marry in the near future. I was hoping that Cliff would understand, and come to my wedding. But now I see that it would't work out. He'd probably fight my future husband. Throwing the letter to the sifde, I fell on my bed in tears. Thinking about Cliff hurt her, as if something was repeatedly forcing her fists into her stomach.
"Ann, darling, are you alright?" my father said walking into the room, holding my keyblade, "And do you know what this is, it was lying on the floor out front."
I wiped my eyes and looked up at him, my eyes widening at the sight of the keyblade.
"Do you know what this is?" he waved it around in the air. "No, no I don't dad." I lied taking the keyblade out of his grasp. "Would you mind if I kept it?" "Well, I'm going to ask around, if I find the owner, you have to greturn it, okay?" "Okay." I smiled back at him as he went to serve a man who had just walked into the inn.
"Oh Ann, someones here to see you!"

Oooh, interesting!
I like it so far!
But I want details! Like how Ann got the Key Blade (though if you tell that later, that's good, too!)

Chapter 2.
Wiping the last of my tears away, I stumbled over a few mops and pulled on a small crate to steady myself. I pulled myself together and continued out to the main entrance. Standing in the doorway, hair flowing, strong cologne wafting with every step he took, stood Cliff. He walked towards me, and stroked my face. I took a step back, hesitaiting slightly.
"Ann, are you okay? I heard you just got back." "I thought you we're away with Rick" I stumbled on my words. "I got back last week."
I slowly wondered to myself, 'how long was I away for?' Since taking on responsibilitys of the keyblade, time just flew by. I was a heroine now. The mistress of the keyblade. I spend all my time with my three closest frineds. Helping them search for there missing king, and an island girl. Which we are still yet to find. I guess I did spend a long time away. I went to many places, many worlds in fact. I guess one day, in the near future, I will have to tell Cliff I am soon to be wed. But for now, I must focus.
"Last week? When did you leave?" I pushed a strand of hair behind my ear. "Three months ago, about a year after you left." "A year?" "Yes, didn't you relise how long you had been gone for?" "No, not really..." "Well, your back now" he whispered, reaching out his hand.
'Don't touch me', I thought to myself, my smile slowly changing. But with that thought still fresh in my mind, he took my hand and led me to a table. He put my hand down, and left his on top as we seated. My father brought over two glasses of lemonade, and sat them beside our hands. Obviously he thought we were meant for each other.
"Ann, dearest, I've spoken with Doug about this for a while..." he began, he seemed quite nervous. "Spoken aobut what?" I choked on the finl words, and sippped from my glass to try and remove a lump, that wasn't really there. "Ann, I love you more than ever, as you already know..."
No, no, he wouldn't, would he? Did my dad say yes? Am I even thinking straight?
"... and well, I don't know how to say this." He took a small box from his pocket, and removed his other hand from the top of mine. As he opened the box, he winked at me. I knew what was coming.
"Ann, will you marry me?" he took out a blue feather, and placed it in my hand. I looked at it, knowing that I couldn't say yes. I reached into my pocket and pulled out another, slightly larger blue feather. With a small tag, tied with golden string tied round it. Bearing several words, short, but effective. Cliff took it in his hands, tears beginning to well up in his eyes. After serveral minutes of fighting back tears, he opened his lips.
"Sora?" he whispered softly. "Yes, Sora." I replied, stroking his arm.
He pulled it away instantly. I knew this was tough for him. That I was in love with a young boy named Sora. A lovely young lad with soft dark hair and eyes than shone like the sea, the beautiful blue reflection of the sky.
"Are you alright?" I tried to comfort him. "Y--Yes, I'm fine Ann."
I felt really uneasy, he hasn't called me just 'Ann' to my face for years. He held the larger feather with the golden string in his hand, rolling it gently over his fingers.
"How long have you had this?" He looked me straight in the eye, for the first time since he had seen the feather. "Two weeks..., he gave it to me as a leaving present." "Two weeks ago, as a leaving present?" he seemed worried, I didn't understand why. "Yes, it took ne a long time to get back here, I had to cross many worlds."
He looked back down at the feather, then compared it to his slightly smaller one. He brought his hand into a fist around the smaller feather, and forced it with fury into his pocket. He dropped Sora's feather on the table, it took several seconds to reach the surface. He sighed loudly and took a sip of his drink. Then got up, shaking his head slightly.
"Goodbye Ann..." "Goodbye..." I called as he walked towards the door, a tear left my eye as I watched him go. I snatched up the feather from Sora, and took my glass of lemonade, before storming off into my bedroom, to where I was to collapse in tears of frustration on my bed.

Awww!
Poor Cliff.
However, thinking it, Sora and Ann would be a cute looking couple.

Chapter 3
Later that evening I was sitting on my bed with a large bowl of popcorn, reading a book with a light blue cover, explaining the history of the blue feather. I took a pen to the book and shut my eyes, I wrote down on a page the name of the one I loved the most. I opened, and saw written with a forward slant looking plainly at me, the word "Sora". I had earlier read:
'If you don't know the one you love the most, and have been given this sacred feather twice, take a pen to this page, in the box below scribble, whilst thinking about the two. You most shut your eyes and relax. When you open you would have written the name of the one you love the most...'
I didn't believe this method was true but I did it in anyway. Pleased, and not at all surprised at my outcome, I put the pen into a small drawer and continued reading.
"Ann, honey, Karen wondered if you would like to come out front for a while?" my dad said, looking down at me. "Um, is Cliff out there?" "No." "Sure, tell her I'll be there in a minute." I squealed loudly, knocking the popcorn onto the floor. My father left as I cleared up the mess and got changed into a short lilac evening dress. Draped over the mirror was a necklace, that my mother had given me before she passed away. I took it from the vanity mirror and placed it round my neck. On the front the word "My Baby Girl" was engraved. I had it since I was two, but of course couldn't wear it till I was older. Thinking back on it though, I've owned it for twenty years now. But still looks like new. Seating myself at the vanity, I took out some pale lipstick, and put it on.
"Ann, you coming or n--" he paused mid-sentence. Darling, you look beautiful, it's only a pub night. "I know, but this is my first time seeing them in over a year daddy..." "I guess, come on" he took me by the wrist and pulled me out front.
I looked around to wear a couple of my girl friends were talking. Karen looked up smiling.
"Ann, where have you been?" she came running towards me. "You must have a lot to tell us. It's great to see you again." "Loads" I laughed loudly and walked over to where the others were sitting.
Karen noticed something in my hair, and stood up to take a look.
"Is it real?" she asked me nodding at the feather. "What, this?" I took the blue feather Sora had given me out of my hair, and lay it across my palm. "Yes, is it real?"
I handed the feather to her, she took it and read the label, her eyes widened as she rolled it over her fingers delicately. She stroked the hairs on it, and brushed her hands over the 'bone'. Holding it between her fingers she blew on it gently, and carefully passed it back to me.
"You never told us you we're getting married." she said sternly, looking at me, as if I'd done something wrong. "It slipped my mind..." I replied truthfully, it wasn't something I had thought about since returning, to much.
I finished off my glass of white wine before announcing that I was too tired to stay. I walked back to room, avoiding the mop pile. I removed two lilac healed shoes from my feet and brought my legs up onto the bed. I pulled the covers over myself and turned off the lamp. I rolled over, pulling towards me a stuffed animal Sora had given me. It was a small white bear, with "I Will Always Love You" in gold over its' stomach. I dreamt that night, of him, Sora. My dream was full of shadows, keyblades and him. I smiled in my sleep as I was left alone with him, in my dreams that is. I couldn't help but hope he was near. And as if by thought, not Sora but something else was coming. I opened my eyes, a small heart lit up on the end of the keyblade, someone was coming to Mineral Town.
