Kai is one of my favorite characters in FoMT. Well, I'm sorry, everyone, but a lot has been going on this week, and I had absolutely no time to write the next chapter... Sorry!

Kai's Life: Arriving to Mineral Town.
Chapter 3: Popuri[/i]
Kai watched Popuri as she said "Hello" to her mother and brother. He leaned towards Zack and whispered "Zack... who is this?" Zack smiled. "Popuri, this is Kai. He is new in Town."
Popuri smiled warmly at Kai and shook his hand. "Hello, Kai! I hope you like it here!"
"I...ye... yes, I like it here, thanks." Kai muttered, blushing.
Popuri laughed a little.
Zack looked at Kai "Well, it's time to go, then! See you later, Rick, Lillia, Popuri." He said as he walked out of the shop.
Kai looked at Popuri. "By...Bye!" he said. As he walked out of the house, he tripped. He quickly got up, and as he closed the door, he could hear Rick clearly say. "That guy seems retarded to me."
"Oh, shut up. He is cute." snapped Popuri.
"I don't want you to see him ever again!" exclaimed Rick.
"Well, I don't do what you want!" replied Popuri.
Hearing a fight coming, Kai rushed to leave the Poultry Farm.
He meet with Zack outside the Farm. "So, that's all! It's getting late, you should go back to the Hotel. I trust you can find it yourself?"
Kai nodded. "Thanks Zack!"
"No problem." Zack started walking towards the beach, leaving Kai alone in the hot, summer night.
A faint breeze tried to cool the night, but to no avail. Kai whistled merrily as he walked to the Inn. He couldn't stop thinking about Popuri. She was so beautiful! That brother of hers, Rick, may pose a treath, but it seemed that Popuri wasn't going to abide by Rick's word.
He had finally arrived to the Inn and, after wishing goodnight to Doug and Ann, he went towards his room. As he entered it, he saw Gray already asleep. He moved towards his bed as quietly as he could. After undressing, he got into his bed, and soon fell asleep.
Popuri kept coming into his dreams in a way that made him thankful that Rick couldn't read minds.

Kai's Life: Arriving to Mineral Town.
Chapter 4: The Plan[/i]
Kai woke up next morning with a Plan formed in his mind. He was going to ask Gotz, the woodcutter, to build a shack for him in the beach. That would help him get money. And when he had enough, he would be able to marry Popuri... That is, if she wanted to marry...
After breakfast, he headed to the Forest, where he asked Gotz to lend him an axe. "Why do you want one?" asked Gotz, in his low, rumbling voice. "I need to chop wood..." muttered Kai. Gotz shrugged and gave it to him. Kai walked out of Gotz's house, and started choping wood. When he finished, he ran through the mountain, collecting things to sell. He sold them to Zack after wards. Slowly, but surely, Kai began making money to buy his shack. Occasionally, he managed to talk to Popuri, but Rick always appeared and scolded Popuri, then forced her to leave. He also went to help the Old Man in his farm sometimes.
Most of the Season passed in this manner, until the 27th of Summer, when Kai finally went to Gotz house. He had saved enough money and enough lumber to build his shack. Gotz laughed as Kai described how he wanted his Shack to be. "Finally, I get some work!" he said, as he rummaged through his tools to decide which one he would need to make the Shack. Kai smiled to himself as he left Gotz shop. Now, he would be able to raise more money and be able to give Popuri a good life... "It would have been so much easier if they accepted my town's currency here..." he sighed.

YOU TALKED TO MANNA ABOUT THAT DIDN'T YOU? *later* I KNEW IT! *koffkoff* Good chapter! ;D I have a few questions. 1: Is the 'Old Man' The guy who used to own the farm when Jack/Jill came? 2: He SELLS it to Zack? I thought you put it in the shipping bin and Zack will pick it up to ship to the CITY who will buy it. 3: Why are you making Rick sound so mean??? RICK IS NOT MEAN!!!! *cries* T.T 4: Why is 'plan' with a capital P? And 5: (note the previous chapter* In chapter 3, why does Zack call the Inn a hotel???  |
