It has been two years since I last wrote a fan fiction. Two years ago, I wrote my first fan fiction ever, Kai's Life. I'm back to the world of fan fictions, with a sequel to Kai's Life! For a lack of a better title, its called. "Kai's Life: Arriving to Mineral Town."
Well, I hope you all like it.
The story begins where the last one ended. Kai in his boat, seeing Mineral Town in the horizon.

Kai's Life: Arriving to Mineral Town.
Chapter One: Escaping from Winter.
The sun was coming up over the horizon. The night had ended and a new day was beginning. As the first rays of sun hit his face, Kai woke up and yawned. He was on his boat, near a town. He had decided to wait until morning to get to the town, he didn't want to crash on rocks or something.
He quickly got ready and went to prepare himself breakfast. After a hurried breakfast, he went towards the control room and started sailing towards the dock of the town.
As he got nearer and nearer to the town, he could see the landscapes surrounding it. There was the beach, bathed in golden sunlight, with the gulls crying and the waves peacefully crashing in the shore, it was that sort of perfect, dream beach where you want to stay forever.
In the distance, he saw a lush, green forest in the shadow of a mountain. Judging by its height, the Mountain was a perfect place to watch the stars and the moon in the night, and to see the sun rise or fall. He would definitely pay a visit to the Mountain.
His boat finally arrived to the dock. As he got off his boat and tied it so it wouldn't drift away, a voice called behind him. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" He turned back and opened his mouth to answer, but closed it as soon as he saw the person who had spoken. It was the biggest man he had ever seen in his life. He was sure he was seven foot tall. The man had a tan, and was very muscular. His hair, which was brown like his moustache and eyes, was cut in a military fashion. He seemed like one of those bodyguards who could kill you in a matter of seconds. Kai gulped, the man scared him.
"I... I'm Kai... I came here because I wish to stay here all the Winter..."
"Winter?" The man frowned. "But it's the last day of Spring! Summer starts tomorrow... Are you feeling well?"
Kai gulped again. "I come from the southern hemisphere... It's the last day of Fall there, and Winter starts tomorrow."
The man smiled and Kai relaxed. The smile clearly told him this man wasn't going to crush him to dust. "Oh, so that's why you were saying "Winter"... Anyway, pardon my rudeness. I haven't introduced myself! I'm Zack and I'm in charge of shipping for Mineral Town."
Kai smiled. "So, this town is called Mineral Town?"
Zack nodded. "Yes. Go get your luggage, I will take you to the Inn." Kai ran to his boat and got his luggage, then followed Zack towards the town.

Kai is one of my favorite characters in HM. As I had never read a story with Kai's past, I decided to write it myself.

Holy--Is this Kai's first time in town???I like it!
You know, I heard that in Harvest Moon 64, Kai leaves in Winter so he leaves Popuri(his family in 64)to get to Popuri(mineral town)!
