[Kikyou Saya Rin-Ren]

Cheerios and I are taking turns writing chapters in this story! It's about Jill, but it's random with no real story-line. I'm writing the first chapter.

Chapter 1-the party
Jill looked around the house. Everything seemed perfect for the party. She had tons and tons of food because she had so many people. She ran through the guest list in her head:

‘wow!’ she thought ‘I invited more people than I thought!’
She looked around the house to see if there was anything else she should do. She found the dog sleeping on her bed and put him outside.
“Sorry boy, but you’ll have to stay out here for a while. You can come back in when the party’s over.” The dog simply barked and ran off. Jill shook her head. She thought he would be upset, but he didn’t care at all. She went back inside. Food was overflowing everywhere, but there wasn’t anything she could do about that. However, she had absolutely no doubt all her guests would eat it all.
Finally, guests started to arrive. They came one after another and sat down. There wasn’t really any room so they had to sit on the floor. You see, food was on the sofa, the TV, the tool chest, the 2 chairs, and the 2 beds. Not to mention the 8 tables! Yet there was still overflow food! She went to the middle of where everyone was.
“Okay everyone, we’re going to start by eating so they’re room to do something-anything-else.” And they all started eating. Here’s what happened:
Karen and Duke drank 15 bottles of wine between the two of them and went home drunk.
Cliff had a couple of fish.
May, Stu and Kate each had an ice cream cone. Kate had strawberry, May chocolate, and Stu vanilla.
Rick had a chunk of cheese, some olives and some root beer, before deciding to head out, dragging Popuri who’d been refusing to eat anything healthy, but the rule was something healthy before anything like dessert.
Barley had a bowl of Miso soup.
Elli had some jam and bread.
Ann had a burger with some soda.
Ellen ate some apples.
Between the two of them, Van and Gourmet ate a plate of brownies, a plate of squid, a giant chocolate cake, a cheesecake, a plate of bread, 3 onions, an entire platter of gingersnaps, a plate of corn dogs, a bunch of bananas, a basket of random veggies, an entire chicken, a pumpkin, a lot of spinach, 3 tomatoes, a large strawberry cake, an eggplant, some BBQ skewers, an entire box of donuts, a humungous bowl of fruit, 2 very large full watermelons, a can of soda, 5 packages of marshmallows, a coffeepot full of coffee, a bag of grapes, 3 mushrooms, a package of chocolate cookies, 2 teapots full of tea and a cheeseburger. A minute later they ate a package of candy canes too.
Doctor had some chicken noodle soup and vegetable stew.
Flora had some fruit cookies.
Mary had 3 oranges.
Anna and Basil had some broccoli, a banana, an apple and a carrot.
Kai had a pineapple.
Tim had a piece of bread.
Nina ate an ear of corn, a coconut, some milk, and a boiled egg.
Gotz snacked on some breadsticks.
But then Gourmet and Van came back. They suddenly ate lemon cake, burritos, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, a plate of chocolate chip cookies, a lemon merangue pie, an apple pie, a pumpkin pie, a plate of key lime bars, a strawberry cake, a lemon cake, and 3 regular vanilla cakes.
“That’s it?!” they exclaimed, and hungrily went off to find more food some place else. Most everyone else was like ._.
They all left to try and get something to eat too.

The next chapter is coming soon (I hope) and will be by cheerios!

Hello everybody! I decided to write tonight after all. Just so all o’ ya’ll know, I’ve never written a fan-fic before. I’ve attempted many stories but have never finished them. So please don’t laugh at my pitiful attempts.

Chapter Two: Oh no!! *gasp*

Jill looked happily over the large crowd that had accumulated. She smiled thinking about how welcome she was and how many friends she had.
“Hey you guys! Why don’t we go outside since we’re all done eating, you know, enjoy some fresh air?” She opened the door as a gesture for them to go on out.
There, that’s better. Jill welcomed the cool Autumn breeze. She fanned her hot, red face and glanced around. Kai was walking Popuri around the farm, his arm linked in hers. She noticed Rick glaring icily at the two. Jill smiled. All the boys and girls were starting to pair up, while the older married couples were sitting in groups. Her smile faded as she realized there weren’t any boys left for her. You know, not that she… cared or anything.
She was startled from her thoughts when Gotz came up and started rambling on about trees or something of the sort.
“… you see those oaks there on the horizon? Well those are the ones my great, great-”
Jill zoned out right about then.
“Don’t you agree?” Gotz looked at her questioningly. “Well?”
Jill stared at him blankly. “huh… I-, I’m sorry, I didn’t hear that. I had a, a song stuck in my head! Yeah, have you heard the one by-” This time it was Gotz’s turn to stare into space. What is getting into me? Jill wondered. She was still going on about some group she had never heard before, and realized she must be torturing poor Gotz. “I’m sorry Gotz. Did I interrupt you?”
“Wha… Oh, uh, no. I think I’ll go over and see how Ellen is doing…” And he left.
Well, I guess that’s a good thing.
“Man, there are a lot of people here!” She muttered to herself.
“Yeah there are.” Jill jumped at the sound of somebody’s voice behind her.
“Oh, hello there Ann! You scared me! Where’s Cliff?”
“Sorry for scaring you,” she smiled pleasantly. “Cliff had to leave. I guess he ate one fish too many!” The two talked for some time, as they had become good friends in the past year.
Their pleasant conversation was interrupted by a sharp yell. “aaaa-uhhh-aaa!!!” Jill looked around. In horror she saw Gourmet, his face nearly purple with rage.
“Bubbles!” Jill yelled at her dog. “Bubbles let go! Let go now Bubbles!” The dog had a fierce hold on Gourmet’s new suit. The girl groaned. She ran over to the large man and grabbed her dog. Her tugging turned into a tug-of-war. A game in which Bubbles, was clearly enjoying. Jill gave one more extra hard tug and fell flat on her butt.
Gourmet now a deep violet, and Jill who was now very red in the face, both glared at the puppy in question. “You’re stupid dog tried to eat me!!! You- you- you’re dumb dog needs to be kept in a cage, or- or something!” Gourmet was now spitting in his wrath. “How dare you Jill, unleashing your dog upon me! He almost ate me!”
Jill was getting angry as he stood there and yelled at her. She calmly stated, “ I highly doubt my dog could eat you, with all the food you ate tonight.” She looked him up and down with a cold stare. “And would you mind keeping your spit off my face and in your mouth?”
A crowd had gathered to watch the scene. Gasps went all around as normally calm Jill released her icy comments. She was rather shocked herself. Panic shivered through her mind. “I- I’m so sorry Gourmet. I’m so, so sorry! Please forgive me!” But for poor Jill, it was too late. She realized she might never win a cooking festival again. Gourmet was so mad, he didn’t say another word. He glared stonily and left the farm in a huff. Jill stood there and watched his back. She slowly turned to face the audience. “So. Anybody hungry?” She got no reply as the people began to group off muttering and whispering to each other. Well, looks like I’m going to be the next talk of Mineral Town. And Forget-Me-Not Valley.
As she stood there she heard Popuri say to Kai, “I’ve never seen one man turn that many shades of purple in my life!”
Jill groaned. This is going to be a looong night…

Like, harvestmoon said, this story is totally spontaneous and made up as we type. I had no idea I was going to do that! So, that is my first chapter of my first fan-fic ever. Tell me whatcha think!

chapter 3- the fight
After an hour or so, talk about Gourmet and Bubbles and Jill died down. Rick was about to eat a piece of apple pie, when he saw Kai about to kiss Popuri. Even though they'd been dating for 5 years, he was angry. Without thinking, he threw the pie at Kai. Kai got hit and threw some greasy cheese pizza that hit Rick square in the face, it's sticky cheese stuck on his glasses. Rick tried throwing a piece of cake at him, but he ducked and it hit May! She grinned and picked up any food she could find and threw it at everybody and anybody. They didn't always know it was her, and threw more food at whoever they thought did it. Some hit Stu and he looked as if he were going to start crying, but instead he started recklessly flinging food around. Jill didn't want to become covered in food, so she raced to the bedroom, where she saw Bubbles whimpering in the corner, covered in salad dressing. She decided that she had to give her a bath, so she picked her up and ran for it until she got into the bathroom. When she got in, she closed the door and started running bath water, and Bubbles started scratching at the door, not wanting to get bathed. Jill ignored her and looked in the mirror to see how covered in food she was. She had a strawberry latte in her hair. On her clothes, there were several things. pumpkin pie, Miso soup, pudding, chocolate cookie crumbs (stuck to the pudding), and something she didn't even want to know. Had someone gotten hit with it, thrown it at someone else getting food on it, they got hit and took it off, and threw it, and so on?! She realized the bathtib was full enough and turned off the water. To Bubbles's protest, she shampooed and condtioned her. Then, Jill took her out of the water. Normally, she would've wrapped her in a towel to keep her from shaking and getting her wet, but she decided that might be a good idea. However, out of habit, Bubbles did not do it. Jill wrapped her in a towel, secured it, checked it, and double-checked it. Her plan? Run to the bedroom as fast as she could, while Bubbles was wrapped in a towel so she wouldn't have to bathe her again. She opened the door and ran quickly.
"Ow!" she shouted, as she ran past. When she got into her room, she figured out what it must've been that hit her. A jar of mixed juice! It had gotten all over her hair, on her face, her back, and on her overalls. She shook her head. How messy! She then made a decision. She went back into the kitchen, where the food fight was worse than ever.
"EVERYONE GO HOME RIGHT NOW!!!!!" she screamed as loud as she could, above the racket of the guests.
"Yo, what's your prob, Jill?" asked Kai
"Too much mess! Now go! Leave!" she said, not lowering her volume even the slightest bit. They all left, but none offered to help her clean up. As soon as they were all gone, Jill went and took a bath, wondering if she'd be able to get all the mixed juice out of her hair. After she had, she pondered wether or not she would be able to get the stains out of her overalls and shirt. She decided to try. When she was done, she grabbed a mop, washcloth, and a humongous bucket of water. She also decided on a vaccuum. She'd clean up the house, inside and out. It'd been a house-warming party, so she'd never cleaned the house inside-out. She started in the kitchen. She took the rug and the curtains and put them in the washer. After half an hour, she'd put them in the dryer. She started to mop. When she was done with the floor, she even used the mop to clean the walls and the ceiling, as there was food everywhere. She then took the washcloth and scrubbed the table, chairs, sink, and the inside of the refridgerator where there was spilled food from everyone getting more food to throw. She scrubbed out the freezer too, which was as bad as the refridgerator. She went and got another washcloth and some Windex. She then washed the two kitchen windows. After a while, she'd cleaned the entire house in this way. When the laundry was done, she put everything back in it's proper place, and inspected her overalls. They were clean! (She'd changed of course) She then started on the dishes. She finished washing them all after about an hour.
knock knock knock
Jill opened the door, the whole house now clean. It was Doctor! The cute guy she'd had her eye on earlier.
"Um, hi. I'd like to help clean up. Sorry I couldn't come sooner, but I had to be at the Clinic."
"Well, all the clean-up is done already..."
"Oh. Mind if I stay for a while?"
"Sure. Why aren't you with Elli?"
"Huh? Oh, her. She seems to have a crush on me or something, but she doesn't notice that I have no interest in her!"
"Oh... Is there anyone you have a crush on Doctor?" he looked down and blushed.
"Uhhh, ummm, n-n-no." She could tell by his tone of voice he was lying though. 'why won't he tell me? Is the girl he likes... Is it... Could it be... Me?!' "JILL!"
"Huh? Oh, yeah."
"I've been trying to get your attention for a couple of minutes."
"Sorry... I was lost in thought."
"Oh. Since you asked me, I think I have every right to ask this. Do you have a crush?"
her reaction was almost exactly the same as Doctor's. Hmmm, he really did seem to like her. Did he? She sure liked him! And he acted as if he liked her...

Now it's cheery's turn again!

Chapter 4: A New Day.

As Jill laid in bed that night, she thought about the doctor. Man was he cute! She was confused as to whether she should think that he liked her or not. She thought about it for awhile until the rushing sound of the river soothed her to sleep.
Jill awoke to a bright, sunny morning. She opened her dresser and tried to decide what color overalls she should wear. She finally decided on the light pink ones. The blonde girl hummed aloud as she buzzed around the house making breakfast. Maybe I’ll take some chocolate cake to Doctor today… She entertained the thought for awhile. Oh wait. Do doctors eat cake? Would he be offended at getting something sugary sweet and delicious? Nah! Who would turn down chocolate cake?
She opened the door and strolled down to the chicken coop. “Hey chickies,” she cooed, “come ‘ere fluffy ‘ol pal. Come get your food.” She fed them and talked to them and listened to their chatter. “Nope sorry guys, you can’t go outside today either. It’s supposed to rain today although looking at the sky I kind of doubt it.” She left her three chickens and walked up to the barn.
So far, she had one little calf. Buying it had taken most of her savings but she had hopes for the little thing. “Hi Oreo, how are you today?” She finished taking care of the calf and moved on to Palooca her horse.
“Well time to bake the cake!” she headed into the house. She got on her white apron and got out her ingredients. She had been enjoying herself, belting out her singing voice for all the house to hear, when the doorbell rang. She walked over and answered the door, her face smeared with flour and her hair coming out of her ponytail. “hello?” She smiled brightly at the man at her door.
“Oh, yes, hi,” he seemed a nervous sort of man. Jill looked at him curiously.
“Can I… help you?” she asked.
“My name is Won. I am a traveling salesman. I was wondering if you would like to buy some precious merchandise clear from far away lands.” his hands began to twitch. Won cleared his throat. “First what I have for you today is called HMSG. It stands for -”
Jill interrupted him. “What is it? I’m kinda busy.”
“Well you see, it- it’s a, uh,” Jill peered into his bag.
“It’s an apple.” She state flatly.
“Not just any apple! It is called HMSG which stands for-”
“look. What are you tring to accomplish here?” It was hard for her to keep from laughing at the foreign man, he was so jittery.
Won pulled out the apple and right as he did, Carter ran up. “Jill, have you seen the apples from my apple tree? I’ve been looking all over for them and I-” Carter stopped as he noticed Won. “Where did you get those?”
“I, uh-”
“HARRIS!” Carter yelled. Harris walked up.
“Did you find out who took them?”
Carter pointed. “Look! Do you see those? Those are the ones from my tree! Can you be-” Won protested feebly. Pretty soon it turned into a heated argument. Jill let her eyes wander from one red-faced man to the other. She shut the door quietly. Laughing and Snorting she made her way back to the kitchen.

Nothing can bring me down now. Jill thought happily. Yesterday might have been a mischance, but today’s a new day!
She walked clear to the doctor’s office, her cake in hand. She stepped through the door and the bell above the door rung. “Hello Jill!” Elli said in a friendly voice.
“Hi Elli. I’m here to give this to the doctor.” she said motioning to the cake. Elli looked at her strangley.
“Are you sure you want to do that?”
“Of course.” Jill answered in a tone of voice that implied that she thought Elli’s comment was more than a little dumb.
“I don’t know if you should do that.” Elli said slowly.
“Look, can you just tell me where he is?” Jill said a little annoyed.
“He’s in his office. Uh, Jill are you sure you should-” Elli was left talking to Jill’s back.
She’s just jealous that the doctor likes me instead of her. She thought hastily. “Hi Doctor, how are you today?”
Doctor looked up and smiled. “Hello Jill, I’m good thank you. Are you here for a checkup? What’s that in your hand?”
Jill grinned. “Nope, no checkup today Doctor. I brought you something.” She set the chocolate cake on his desk.
“Is this some kind of joke?!”
“Wha-”
“this, this, junk food!” Doctor exclaimed in disgust. “What are you trying to do!”
Jill was shocked. “I, I thought, I thought that you would….” her voice trailed off. “I’m sorry,” she murmured in a small voice.
“No, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have treated you like that. You were just trying to be nice and give me a gift.” He grinned. “Do you want to eat it for me?”
“No. Maybe I should go…” Jill turned and started to walk out.
“Jill! I’m sorry. Come talk to me!” Doctor sighed. “Great.”
She walked past Elli who gave her a sympathetic look which only made Jill angry. Jill stormed out of the office. Walking down the street, she heard a deep rumble. Looking up, she saw black clouds rolling in. She broke into a slight run, hoping to make it home in time. Why does my house have to be on the complete opposite side of the village? The rain started to pour down in sheets. She stopped running. No use trying to stay dry anymore. Jill sighed. Why was everything going so wrong lately? Did she have bad karma or something? The girl groaned. This is definitely not the new day I had hoped for.
