haha! Yeah, I don't know how great it is because I was typing it at 11 o clock last night.


Plus I never checked it after I typed it...

Chapter 4-not such a bad day after all
When she got into her house, she changed into dry clothes and put some wood in the fireplace. As soon as she sat down, she heard a knock at the door. now what lunatic would be going anywhere in this rain? she thought grumpily. She opened the door and saw that it was a man. It was too dark to figure out who he was, but he was soaking wet.
"Um, why don't you come inside?" she asked. He stepped in. Jill now saw clearly who it was. It was Doctor!
"Jill, I'm really sorry for what happened today."
"Well, it was a lot of trouble for you coming here in the rain and all."
"So you're not mad?"
"Humph."
"Well, I brought you something."
"What?"
"I brought you pumpkin pudding! It may seem unhealthy, but it's not!" he handed it to her.
"Thank you!" how did he know my favorite dish is pumpkin pudding? she wondered
"Your welcome!"
"Oh, and I'm sorry about what happened today too."
"That's okay. Anyway, I better be going."
"No! You came all the way here, and you're already wet. You shouldn't get even more wet. You can stay here until the rain lets up."
"Thanks!"
"Well, I was just going to have lunch. Do you want something?"
"Sure." he decided in his mind he would be nice and eat whatever she gave him. No matter what.
Jill rummaged in her refridgerator. She found a salad and some X milk. That would be very good! And healthy. She carried them over to the table and set them down.
"Sorry it's not much. But my cooking is good! I made the salad with fresh cucumbers, cabbage, tomatoes and carrots! And... Well, I don't have anything else to drink."
"That's okay! I like salad. Milk too. You know, people's bones are getting weaker and drinking milk helps tremendously!"
"I'm so glad that you like it!" finally, at 10 or so, the rain stopped.
"Well, I'd better be going now."
"Okay. See you tomorrow!"
"Yep. Oh, and you don't have to go out of your way to get me a gift. I like most things, as long as they're healthy." and with that, he left. I could never stay mad at him for long! Jill thought happily. She fell asleep, happy as could be, and ready to go visit Doctor tomorrow. She knew it would be a good day!
