The Acquaintance

As the two girls walked down the path to the beach, they spotted a boat. Coming out of the boat was a young man from the city. He wore a blue hat and blue overalls. Practically everything was blue. The girls gazed at him adorably. As he walked towards the square, the girls tried to leave, but then came a voice. “Hi. My name is Jack. Do you mind showing me around?” he said. “Hi my name is Karen, and this is my friend Popuri. We would love to show you around.” she said, and off they went.

Popuri showed much interest in Jack. Trying to start a conversation with him all the time. Karen on the other hand…, she avoided talking to him, except the necessary things. The only reason Karen didn’t want to talk to him is because she knew she would end up falling for him. Plus, she already had a boyfriend, Rick, Popuri’s brother. So Karen let Popuri have him, and the only reason she did was because she wanted Kai to dump her. Karen thought Popuri was just using him.

On the way to the Inn, Karen saw that Popuri was trying to hold his hand. She was also whispering in his ear. But Popuri became furious when Jack started to flirt with Ann. Ann looked at him with her big bright blue eyes. It kind of looked like Popuri’s face turned the color of her hair. “Ann” Popuri began. “Can I have a word with you? Excuse us Jack.” and off they went.

Karen wanted to make sure Jack knew Popuri well and good. “So, do you like Popuri?” Karen began. “Well, as a friend, yes, anything else, no.” he said. “ Well I just wanted you to know Popuri will do you no good. Ann will make you happy.” she ended. “Wait! No one said anything about Ann, and what do you mean?” he yelled. “You will soon find out!” Karen said, and with that she left.

Chapter 2
Anger or Jealousy

Meanwhile…In the backroom Popuri was talking to Ann about Jack. “Ann, I don’t think you have a chance with him. He really likes me, and we’ve been talking the whole way here. So don’t even try to talk him into liking you.” said Popuri. “I don’t know, he seems like he has an interest in me. I think we would actually get along well.” replied Ann. Popuri snapped “There is no way he could ever like you! To him you are just a girl he met, nothing more!” “I could have a chance with him and you’ll see!” Ann yelled and left the room.

Ann found Jack sitting at the table still waiting for her. “Sorry about that. Popuri just wanted to tell me something.” she said. “Well, I think its about time I left. I’ll see you later Ann!” Jack said and left. Ann said bye and began focusing on Popuri. Ann was furious about what she had said to her. Ann got even more mad when she saw Popuri with Kai at the beach. Popuri was telling her to stay away from Jack, but it was ok of she had Kai and Jack. So Ann knew the perfect to get back at her.

Ann went to the shack where Kai worked to talk. “Hey Kai. How have you been?” Ann asked. “Well I’ve been ok. By the way, have you seen Popuri today?” Kai replied. “Kai, I have some bad news. Would you believe me if I told you that Popuri was flirting with Jack?” Ann said. “She is! But she said she loved me, and no one else.” replied Kai. “She told me yesterday that I couldn’t have Jack because he belonged to her.” Ann added. “I think I need to have a talk with her” Kai said and left. That’s what Ann wanted all along.

“I can’t believe she is doing this to me again. The last time she did this I told her that was the last time. Well, this time she’s gone to far! I’ll show her a piece of my mind. Hope she never messes with anyone again.” Kai thought with anger. As he walked to Popuri’s house, Popuri had noticed Kai coming. “Hey Kai!” said Popuri. “I need to talk to you” Kai said with anger.

like the story but it is a little bit hard to read

I like it.
I think it's well written, and the form is nice.
But sometimes it's a bit confusing to fined out who the story is focused on, but it's still good!

well sometimes you're talking about something and the next second your on a completely other subject
