All That I Ask For
By: Akane I'm so tired of being here."Gray! Gray!" Karen shouted, trying to hold back her tears. "Why? Why don't you love me?!" Suppressed by all my childish fears."Karen," Gray turned around, taking off his hat and running his fingers through his hair. "We've been through this already." "But you've never given me a straight answer!" She argued, choking on her words. And if you have to leave I wish that you would just leave."I just- I just don't, okay?" He answered, growing annoyed. "Stay away from me- leave me alone." She fell to her knees, eyes watering, watching as he slammed the door behind him. 'Cause your presence still lingers here.Not being able to hold back anymore, she collapsed into a heap on the cold hardwood floor, sobbing. And it won't leave me alone.She crawled over to the kitchen drawers, grabbing a large knife with trembling fingers. These wounds won't seem to heal.Her lips met the metal blade, kissing it lightly. This pain is just too real.She placed it against one wrist and let the blade cut through her skin. She let out a scream, muffled through tears. There's just too much that time cannot erase.She ignored the crimson river that continued to spread, and cut her other wrist. When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears.Gray pushed the door open, running through to the kitchen. "Karen!" When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears.She showed him her wrists, smiling, blood dripping onto the floor. And I held your hand through all of these years.He rushed over, and cradled her in his arms. But you still have all of me."Why...?" He asked in a hushed whisper. "Because," She said, brushing the tips of her fingers against his face. "...I love you." She fell limp. I was going to write this normally but then I had the lyrics idea. ^-^ |

EDIT: Confessional is good too! But I think the lyrics give it a little extra. But, of course, it's up to you.
SECOND EDIT: Just a question, is the story over? Or will there be more? *hopes there will be more*
