Yes, she has or had an aranged marrage but it is to a different guy. From what I got when I saw the heart events, she doesn't like the guy she was promissed to. She feels that he isn't nice.

Ceila was engaged to a guy she never even met. In one heart event, she does meet him, but refuses to marry him.
And Marlin... Well, let's just say Marvelous shoula thought about the relationships between characters better. >_<

I knew she was supposed to marry a guy, but engaged? I mean, I thought it would be Celia's desicion to marry the guy, not someone else's.

I just saw ALL the cutscenes with Celia. And no one says that she's already engaged. She met a guy, but she refuses to marry him. She's not engaged with him You guys are all confused  Stop reading those Faqs and read what it says in the game |

Um... I am basing this off from my play time on AWL.
Talk to Celia when you marry her. She'll mention being glad she broke the engagement.
Besides. when two people are to wed, aren't they engaged? I think they went back to medival times and forced marriages.
